Chapter 7: New Amends

Y/N's Point of View

The next few weeks were amazing.
Taeyong and I have become closer friends, he knew everything about me.
Well, everything except one thing..

"Y/N-ah. Why do you hate Jungkook so much?"

I froze. Why did he have to ask the one question I feared?
There was a huge reason behind all of the hatred directed at Jungkook.
A secret that I've never told anyone.

I called it "The incident". I've never gotten close enough to a person to tell them what had happened, not even Jin and Nayeon.
Not even my very own brother.

Everyone thinks I despise him because he teases me, or talks meanly to me.
That's not it, not it at all..

"Oh. Something happened a long time ago. But I don't really like talking about it." I said.

"Oh. Alright." Taeyong says, and continues talking about another topic.

As he spoke, I looked at him.
Taeyong was so calm..and kind.
He was very quiet, but always expressed his emotions.
I could feel myself falling harder and harder for him.

At Taehyung's house
Narrator Point of View

The boys were playing video games in Taehyung's den.

"Hey, have you been keeping your distance from
Y/N?" Jimin asked suddenly.

Taehyung grabbed a piece of popcorn while saying, "Yeah, I hope it's worth it, because I'm miserable."

"Cheer up, Romeo. It's only for a little while, you'll live." Yoongi says sarcastically.

"Yeah. You've been different Taehyung-ah. It's just a girl." Hoseok agreed.

Taehyung looked down.
"Let's just stop talking about her." He said.

He suddenly sits up.

"I have a new proposition for Bangtan."

"What you got, Tae?" Hoseok asked.

"Well..I think it's time for a new member. Don't you think?" Taehyung says.

"A new member?" They all said in unison.

"Who do you have in mind?" Jimin asked as he sat down next to the rest of the boys.

The boys stopped playing their video game and watched him attentively.

"Jeon Jungkook." Taehyung says quietly.

"What?!" The three boys said in unison.

"Really? I thought you hated his guts, since he's pretty close with Y/N." Yoongi said.

"Yeah. I know they hate each other, but they've known each other since they were five, so they're pretty close." Jimin agreed.

"That's part of the reason why. Being part of BTS makes sure that you don't associate with anyone BUT the members. That's why we're so cold with everyone. I broke that rule with Y/N, and look what happened. So we'll make sure he cuts off ties with anyone necessary." Taehyung explained.

"Okay, so what makes him qualified to be in the gang?" Hoseok asks.

"Well. From what I've heard. This guy has a lot of skills. He fights well, and apparently is good at everything. We need someone like him. I did some research, and he's very good at winning and messing with people. I know I don't like him, but this is good for BTS." Taehyung says.

"Okay, let's find him and make him part of Bangtan." Jimin says and all the boys smile in mischievousness, with a hint of excitement.
