Saviour - Bellamy Blake

Skybox - part 1

Brooklyn Kane was the daughter of Marcus Kane, someone with high status on the ark. However their relationship was damaged to say the least. From a young age Brooklyn was defiant of her father and what he wanted for her. He believed that she needed to become like him; someone with power, but that wasn't Brooklyn's plan. Shed always liked the idea of becoming an engineer, someone that could create and help the Ark thrive. Her father was in obvious disapproval of her career choices, but she'd managed to work hard in school and get extraordinary results, Brooklyn was known for her intelligence, but in her own mind she wasn't good enough, and in her fathers eyes she was a disappointment. Anyone who came across Brooklyn knew she was kind and everything anyone wanted to be, but she did have a bad side.

It was a normal day in Brooklyn's perspective, she was in the air vents checking that everything was working, and finding any improvements needed. As she was finishing up she was about to exit the vent when she heard some guards, she dropped down in front of them. "hey boys", Brooklyn's eyes scanned over their faces, normally a cocky expression covered them, but there was something different today. She turned around to see Shumway staring her down, an uneasy feeling washed through her and she knew, something bad was about to happen. Shumway signalled to the guards and they stalked forward grabbing a hold of her, she thrashed around trying to escape, until she felt a sting in her neck and her surroundings blurred as she fell into an unconscious state. She woke up to the usual humming of machines, but it was different. She slowly opened her eyes still in a daze. Her eyes darting from face to face until she recognised someone, Clarke Griffin. Her eyes immediately connected with Clarke's both having looks of recognition fill their faces. They'd grown up together but never imagined being in this situation. Clarke stared at the girl in disbelief, how could Kane send his own daughter? She was never locked up, yes she was defiant but never so reckless. Brooklyn mouthed long story. Clarke nodded, suddenly distracted by some kids taking off their seatbelts. Clarke yelled at them to return to their seats only to be sassed by spacewalker. Just as they were arguing, a message from Jaha appeared on the screen. "people of ark, here me know". Brooklyn tuned out only to be pulled back in when the ship began to re-enter surface. Brooklyn held on as the kids out of their seats flew to the back of the ship as they landed.

"Finn, are you okay? Are they alive?". Clarke yelled to spacewalker. Everyone was getting out of their seats and walking to the front of the ship as a guard was stopping the people. Brooklyn followed the crowd, towards the front. "Bellamy" a girl called out to the guard. They ran to each other, "look how big you are" many of the delinquents were becoming pushy when the girl called out "give me a moment I haven't seen my brother in 2 years". Many called out to the pair "no one has a sibling". Many realised that it was Octavia Blake, the girl who lived in the floor for 16 years. This seemed to irritate the girl as she got ready to fight, but her brother Bellamy held her back. Seeming to tell her she could be better and the first person on the ground in 100 years. 97 years actually Brooklyn thought. Bellamy went to open the door when Clarke stopped them.

"wait, we're dead the moment you open that door"

"we're dead anyway, either that's air kills us, or we run out of air in here. No matter what we die"

Clarke stays quite as Bellamy opens the door, Brooklyn intently watching as the sunlight streams into the room. Octavia stepped out onto the ground and yelled "WE'RE BACK BITCHES", with this all the kids ran onto the ground celebrating. Brooklyn stayed where she was, curiously watching the 100 run around with no worries. She feels a set of eyes watching her, she looks up seeing that Bellamy curiously looking down at the girl who hasn't joined the rest of the group. A look of recognition spread across his face, at this Brooklyn realised he knew who she was and who her father was, with that she walked of the dropship to find Clarke standing over a map trying to find Mount Weather. She saw Wells standing over her shocked to see him, but not surprised. Brooklyn appeared next to them listening to their plans of attempting to get to Mount Weather.

This was their main goal, that's when they were interrupted by Murphy. Murphy and Wells began to argue, most likely over control. Brooklyn knew the thing they needed to do was find supplies as without them they would most likely die. Brooklyn heard the argument between the two sides beginning to become annoyed with the two. Both were arguing about getting supplies and going to Mount Weather, until Bellamy yelled "let the privileged do the work for once" this got Brooklyn's attention, she was already annoyed, and this just made her angry. She immediately perked up and decided to walk over too Bellamy. "HEY" Brooklyn yelled at him, he stumbled back completely surprised by her outburst. He hadn't thought she was listening as she was just standing behind Clarke looking distracted. Brooklyn continued despite his obvious surprise "privileged we are not out parents; our main priority is to get to safety and have supplies. Don't think for a second that we are privileged, because of our parents, we were all sent to earth." Brooklyn turned to Clarke murmuring that shed meet her over at the supplies to leave. Clarke taking advantage of Bellamy's obvious shock at Brooklyn even speaking, decided to make a move and walk away towards Brooklyn. Clarke was attempting to put a group together to get to Mount Weather.

Clarke has gotten a few people to come, obviously Wells tried to come but was immediately shot down by Clarke. Finn had gotten Jasper and Monty to tag along. With that Octavia added "make that 6". Brooklyn made eye contact with the girl giving her a small smile. Bellamy instantly came over "what do you think you're doing O" after a few arguments and Octavia claiming Finn the group began to head off on their mission to find Mount Weather. Brooklyn knew this would be a lot harder than all the kids knew.
