Mountain men - part 17

They all exited camp, somehow Brooklyn always managed to find herself next to Bellamy. They walked in silence Brooklyn could feel the glances Bellamy was giving her. "what" she questioned looking at him. "do you believe this is what we should be doing" he questioned. "I don't know whatever gives us the most time" as they were talking an axe was thrown directly hitting a kid in the face. "guess we're out of time" Brooklyn muttered scared.

"GROUNDERS" Jasper yelled. All the delinquents ran back to camp setting up to fight. Everyone moved to there places as Bellamy ordered everyone to their posts. Brooklyn swiftly moved past him before Bellamy grabbed her hand "woah what are you doing" he questioned. "fighting" she said obviously. "no you stay with me" he muttered she gave up knowing his stubborn self "why don't you go help Raven" she muttered under her breath. He looked at her guiltily feeling sorry. "whatever let's go" Brooklyn hushed.

They sat at there posts as the grounders started coming sporadically from everywhere. "wait stop" Brooklyn yelled. "they're trying to get rid of our ammo" Brooklyn realised. Bellamy realised to ordering them all to hold fire unless they have a clear shot. This wasn't going well Brooklyn knew. Brooklyn looked at Bellamy the worry was written on his face. "you don't leave me okay" he stated. Brooklyn was had never been more confused about Bellamy Blake, but this wasn't the time. The grounders were attacking.

They were throwing arrows, Bellamy was attacked from behind, but Octavia managed to get him free like a fricken samurai. Clarke emerged from the dropship calling everyone to gather inside. Everyone stopped as they saw a blinding light coming to the ground. "is that coming from the ark?" a girl questioned. "that is the ark" Clarke realised. The grounders stopped as they heard reapers coming. There was a war the reapers verse the grounders. They were trying to get everyone into the dropship in time for the rockets to get in. Brooklyn was with Octavia and Bellamy as Lincoln approached. "go with him" Bellamy said to Octavia. She needed to go; she was beyond injured. Brooklyn stood watching as Bellamy and Octavia forgave each other finally.

Bellamy stood looking at Brooklyn "let's get back to the dropship". She nodded in response. The grounders had broken through the walls. Bellamy and Brooklyn ran for their lives, until Bellamy was hooked by a grounder. "Go keep going" he yelled to Brooklyn. Brooklyn ran but not in time as Clarke closed the dropship doors. Brooklyn turned sprinting back to Bellamy. Their eyes made contact before he yelled "come here, we're not gonna get there let's go. Take cover" he yelled before grabbing her hand and covering his body over her protecting Brooklyn from the force of the blow.

Bellamy was knocked out from the explosion as Brooklyn was covered by him. Brooklyn was being crushed by Bellamy's unconscious body. She shimmied herself from his body stirring him awake. Bellamy grumbled awake looking around urgently seeing Brooklyn underneath him. He immediately moved helping her up hugging her tightly. "we're okay" she muttered feeling uneasy around him. They moved quickly spotting Finn with grounders they knew that they had to get him. Bellamy launched attempting to attack fighting the grounder. Brooklyn stood watching as a grounder came and attacked her. She was flung against a tree knocking her out "Brooklyn noo" Bellamy yelled. "we need to go now" a grounder yelled as they saw some type of green light ahead of them. "mountain men" one whispered. Bellamy was tied up with Finn as the grounders made a quick move "we need the girl" Bellamy tried. "she's unconscious she's better with the mountain men" they started moving seeing the green light get further away.

They heard the others yelling as they ran to the grounder but before they could take action, the grounder was shot in the head. None other than Marcus Kane emerged from the tree "we're here now" he reassured them.

"where are the others?" Abby questioned.

"we need to get Brooklyn; we lost her a while back" Bellamy tried.

"Brooklyn, where is she" Kane perked up. "we need to get her"

They trudged back the direction they had come from. Bellamy approached the tree he had last seen her. "she's not here" Bellamy kicked a can. "wait what is this" Bellamy wondered picking up a can. Kane came up behind him. "she's been captured, that's what the green lights were" Bellamy realised. "she's gone" Kane realised. His face hardening at the fact that Brooklyn was now in danger, but they didn't know what kind.

Brooklyn woke up strapped to a table in a white room. She didn't know what to do last thing she knew she was fighting the grounders with Bellamy. Bellamy. Where was he? She didn't feel safe. She struggled against the restraints slowly loosing hope as she just lay on the table. Until a bright light disturbed her thoughts as the door opened a lady walked in. "Brooklyn Kane" she claimed. Brooklyn didn't respond. "I'm Doctor Tsing, you're apart of something bigger now". Brooklyn just sat there watching as more people came into the room. That's when Brooklyn could hear the noise it sounded like grounders struggling. Brooklyn looked around until she saw them. so many grounders in cages. "what is this, what are you doing to them, to me" Brooklyn tried to get out of her restraints in fear of what was going to happen.

Then she heard a drill and the people came closer to her. She wouldn't give them the satisfaction of her screaming. As they drilled into her skin she remained silent but felt the piercing feeling of a drill in her leg.

Brooklyn felt herself deteriorating, she was dying. Brooklyn was sitting there, as she felt a presence. Looking up she saw a man standing there. "Hello Brooklyn, I'm Dante. The president here. I'm afraid we got to you a little late but a warning if you tell them anything about what you've seen this will happen to you again. Now are you ready" he said before holding his hand out to Brooklyn. Brooklyn had never felt so scared she didn't want that pain again. She grabbed his hand as he had taken away her restraints. "let's get you dressed" He said before taking her to a wardrobe. Brooklyn saw a sunflower dress and paired it with some white shoes, probably the most fashionable she has ever been.

Dante had led her to a door where she could see the leftover of the 100 sitting there, eating. Brooklyn couldn't believe it. She still felt weak from the torture she endured but to not face that again she had to act like she was fine, although she felt like she as dying. She walked through the door to see Clarke sitting there. Clarke ran to Brooklyn shock at seeing her engulfing her in a hug. "Brooklyn how are you here?" Clarke questioned. "I was saved" she muttered. Clarke was suspicious of the girl, she wasn't her usual self, she was deteriorating.
