16: "hey little man"

"hey little man" i looked up to see sarah! "hi!"

i went for a walk to get away from chloe and brendon. she was awful and he was head over heels for her. she's been coming over more frequently and it sucked.

"you doing okay?" she asked.
"i dont know to be honest"
"are those kids being mean to you?"
"im on spring break so thank god no"
"thats good. your dad??"
"his girlfriend. she's horrible"
"what does she do?"
"she discriminated against me multiple times. she says awful things to me. and she practically took my dad away from me. he never has time for me anymore. he's always with her"
"maybe you should tell him"
"but he's really happy with her"
"but youre unhappy. you gotta speak up sooner or later"

i chose later. i got home to see brendon dozed off, leaned against chloe who was typing away on her phone. she noticed me looking and scoffed. "what are you looking at?" 
"a self contained bitch" i shot back before going to my room.

i got into my pajamas and went to sleep and i awoke the next morning to some loud music.
i groaned and got out of bed and went downstairs. brendon and chloe were playing music and making breakfast.

chloe was wearing his t shirt. oh my god.

"hey man. you okay?" brendon asked me.
"perfect. you?" i replied sarcastically.
"oh yeah the music! chloe was bored so we decided to play something" chloe again.
"yeah okay cool um im gonna go see miles"
"you haven't eaten yet!" he called as i walked away. "i know"

i got ready and headed out. she made me sick. miles was waiting for me at the bus stop.
"hey dude" he fist bumped me.
"hi" he noticed my tone. "chloe again?"
i nodded. "i cant stand her man. but my dad thinks the world of her"
"you gotta tell him what she said to you"
"but he's so happy. i-i can't ruin that for him"
"youre his son. he's obviously going to put you first"

would he though?
