~ Chris POV ~
I awoke the next morning to the sweet mouthwatering smell of French toast. The smell filled my nose and led me into the kitchen. In there, I saw Angela, wearing a pink flowery apron and humming along to a song while fixing up some breakfast. I stood at the doorway with my back against the wall, watching her. She accidentally spilled some water on the ground and tripped over her own two feet, screaming and covered in flour from bringing the mixing bowl down with her. I chuckled at her clumsiness and went over to help her up.
"Are you alright?" I asked her, holding back a laugh.
She noticed me trying not to laugh and glared. "Ha-Ha very funny." She said, while putting her hands at her sides.
I looked at her face very closely and saw that it was covered in flour. That was it; I couldn't hold it in any longer. I cracked up laughing and pointed at her face. "HAHA! Your face! Oh my god! It's a mess!" She glared at me. Her face turned red and I saw her turn around to grab something and noticed she was getting a pan. Not realizing soon enough, she slammed the pan behind my head, hard. I stopped laughing then.
Rubbing the back of my head from the pain she caused me, I said, "Sorry, I was a jerk."
She shook her head and sighed. "It's fine. Just sit. Breakfast is ready."
We didn't talk the whole meal through. I guess she was still mad at me for what had happened earlier. When she finished eating, she went to wash her dish. Deciding last minute that I should really apologize, I shoved everything in my mouth and went up to the sink next to her. "I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have laughed at you. I didn't mean to get you mad. I won't laugh at you when you make any more mistakes. Well, I'll try. So, forgive me? I don't want this to get anymore awkward then it already is." I gave her my puppy dog face, hoping it would work.
She gave in and sighed, "Fine. I forgive you. Now what are we going to do? We are here for a reason you know."
"Oh right. Yeah, well first you need to learn how to control your powers. And to do that, you have to learn how to use it. So let's start with that and see how it goes." I tell her.
I hope she's not a slow learner.

It's been 5 hours and we're nowhere near done. Oh God. This is going to be a long day for me. All she's learned is how to float. Useless, I know, but it's the easiest thing to learn and the only thing she's learned.
"It's been 5 hours already! Why are you such a slow learner?! We're on a deadline here," I sighed and spoke more calmly. "If you don't learn how to defend yourself, you might die."
She was silent at first then she nodded her head and gestured for me to teach her something, anything.
"Okay, this might help you defend yourself if someone is coming towards you..."

I had this in my drafts for a while so, I decided to just post it. It's just a filler chapter, so it's not that interesting. LOLOL
I am in the process of writing the next chapter. It might take a while though. So, for those of you reading, stay tuned. (:
