|65| Reunion

"Dad, I have a question about the report," you tell Karasuma.

"What is it?" he asks.

"Well, I--" you cover your mouth and then run to the trash and start vomiting.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Karasuma asks you.

"I don't know," you tell him and then vomit again.

"You're going home early," Karasuma tells you.

"No, it's fine, I'm okay," you tell him as you feel like that the vomiting was over but three seconds later you vomit again and Karasuma sends you home.

You didn't understand why you were vomiting. Why you were sick. You didn't get it. You started thinking, was it something you ate? You couldn't think of anything, you were healthy and you were doing just fine.

An hour later, Karma comes home, "(Name)!" he yells with concern.

"Over here!" you yell as you were in the bathroom.

He rushes to the bathroom and checks up on you. He saw you sitting right beside the toilet, you looked like a mess, "Tadaomi called me and told me what happened. I finished everything at work as quickly as I could, what happened?" he asks as he holds your hair in case you felt like vomiting again.

"I don't know, I just felt sick for some reason, but it's nothing to worry about--" you say and then vomit again. You then flushed the toilet and looked at him and smile awkwardly.

"Come on, let's get you to bed, you might have a fever for overworking," he tells you as he helps you up and helps you walk to the room.

"Maybe," you tell him gently.

Another week has passed and the morning sickness wouldn't stop. "Can you please go see Zander about this?" Karma asks.

"I'll be fine," you tell him.

"We have that party to go to, James's birthday party. I don't want you to go if you're sick," Karma says.

"Alright," you tell him.

"Hey..." Karma says as he may know the reason why you've been vomiting, "You're period, when does it start?" Karma asks you.

"My period?" you ask and then you realized something but you wanted to be sure once you see Zander so you decided to lie, "Well, in two days. Why?" you play dump.

"No reasons," he tells you. "I'll see you tonight, go see Zander, please," Karma says and you nod.

Karma leaves and as soon as you did, you took out your phone and check when it was due for, "I'm two weeks late..." you tell yourself and then got changed quickly. 

You then grab your keys and left. You went to the hospital, "(Name)," you hear someone say.

"Zander!" you say as you walk up to him and give him a hug.

"How's my favourite patient doing?" he asks you.

"I'm doing well Zander, how's my favourite doctor doing?" you ask him.

"Getting old but feeling young," he tells you.

"That's good, but I actually have a small problem," you tell him.

"What is it?" he asks.

"Yup, you're pregnant, two weeks," Zander tells you.

You place a hand on your stomach, "I'm pregnant? Are you sure? Please, don't lie about this Zander," you tell him.

"It's a baby (Name), you're pregnant, congratulations," he tells you.
