My heart pounded wildly as I weaved through dense foliage.
"We're almost there!"Jade tugged on my arm,urging me to run faster but pain exploded in my left ankle.
"I cant,Jade!"I pulled my arm from his grip.
"What the hell!"He whirled around."Nyla,We..."His gaze fell to my ankle.No.A startled gasp echoed into the silent night.No.His face contorted as he walked through the pain towards me.Jade forced me
to the ground.My breath caught in my throat.His bleach-blonde hair was stained red,and blood oozed out of a gash on his cheek.
"Nyla,you run!NOW!"he screamed that last word.Fuck.At least three mutant soldiers forced their way through the brush behind Jade.
"FREEZE!"
Red dots erupted from Jades cheek and he fell to his side,tearing at his flesh.Then the world went blinding white,it was if my eyes said:Nope!
Then the pain came.My ankle twitched as the tracking systems weaved fiber-like wires into my skin.
I don't wanna open my eyes,Jade said not to! "Nyla,it's okay.We'll be safe soon."His arms cradled me like a baby,as of I would fall apart.I wanna see Jade!I pried open my eyes.
Somthing terrible screamed,I arched my back as fire seemed to lick hungrily at my left ankle and left eye.
"Hush!"Jade smothered my screams with his hands,but it was to late.
"HEY!"Keys rattled,and then everything was a blur.
"Get on your knees!"Jade helped me.
CRACK!
He fell to the ground,clutching the side of his head.Then a butt of a gun rammed into my cheek,making me lose my balance.
"Fuck you..."
I looked at the person.Information was displayed in my left eye:
Matt Tylar
Twenty-one years
Guard corps.Michigan
N.A.M.E. Base

"What the hell did you say to him,bitch?"The other guards breath was on neck,and I heard the sound of a belt being undone."Don't worry.I won't hurt of you don't struggle,it'll feel good,bitch."Someghing pulsed through me.I quickly twisted around before the guard could hold me down.BAM!He slammed into the wall by Jade,causing the plaster to crack.Did I just do that?It was like that other guard appeared out of no where!Sirens wailed.Don't think.Run!
I got to my feet,and sprinted down a bleak corridor.Something in my left eye blinked,the vision in it went black and little red dots were in a maze-like map following a large neon blue arrow.
"Stop!"I risked turning around.Guards were flying towards me on what looked like virtual wings.
That isn't possible!
I urged myslef to run faster.
Turning to the left led me into a dome- roofed room with a semi-circle of glass."Oh my God..."
"Your under arrest."Something cold wrapped around my wrists.
"What the hell!"
"Shut up."
A soldier walked in front of me and held out his hand In front of my left eye.Numbers flashed across my vision,then they disappeared ,like I was a computer or something.
"Number fourty-two-thousand,non bitten."They shoved me into the glass semi-circle,then shut and locked the steel doors.
"NYLA!"Jade?
Jade was cuffed with the same strange substance as I was.
"Good evening,children.I am Sharell."
I looked around.
"Right here,Nyla."
The woman materialized in front of me.She had jet-black hair and sickly pale skin,as if she has never seen sunlight.
"Let me tell you two a story.Once upon a ti-"
"Shut the fuck up!"
Sharell's icy gaze settled on Jade.
"Shut the boy up."As if they were in a movie,to guards walked up two Jade.He began to thrash and scream as one pushed him to the ground and sat on his back.
"Nyla!"The other guard grabbed Jade's hair and yanked his head up and pulled out a evil looking needle.
"HELP ME!"
I couldn't move.The guard yanked on his hair harder making Jade scream,and plunged the needle into the bloody wound on his cheek.
"Young male silenced."
Sharell looked away.
"Put him in the corner closest to the holding chamber."
"Yes,Madam."Once Jade was dragged to the overly armored door,Sharell turned her attention to me.What the hell is wrong with these people?
"Now I'll continue."she took a deep breath."Welcome to the underground bunker called N.A.M.E.You will be trained as a mutant soldier,in the struggle to survive in this world where the dead walk.Any questions?"
YEAH...duh!
"Um...how will I become one of these 'Mutant soldiers'?"
The woman smiled."Thats simple:Fight fire with fire."
She disappeared.A loud ,metallic click sounded through out the room,and the armored door unlocked and swung open.I couldn't move.It was like the cuffs were controlling me.Fuck!...
What was behind the door was more terrifying then anything.A D class zombie stood in the small opening of the door.It's flesh was halfway peeled off on it's horrid face.It's eyes!What the hell is wrong with it's eyes?
It lunged at me with a shriek that could break glass."Omph!"I was knocked to the floor and the zombie was on top of me,and it didn't hesitate to sink it's teeth into my flesh.My scream was ragged as I tore at the zombies flesh with my feet.I managed to roll out from under the zombies grip.Fuck.What do..aha!
The zombie lunged again as soon as I got to my feet.This had better work.
In response I kicked the zombie's forehead and it fell to the ground as I kept smashing it's head pulp.Red edged my vision and I collapsed in the bloody mess.
Fight fire with fire.
Prologue?check!
I'm so happy that I got this first part done,and I wanna do more But my brain is fried...so I must take a break for now...°^°
P.S I don't recomend this story for those who don't like guts and gore.
