"That class, is the history of Queen Mackenzie the first and King John. Any questions?" Mrs. Lee asked.
A young brunette raised her hand, "did they only have three kids? How did they die?" Kenzie asked, looking much like the Queen Mackenzie.
"They had four, the last one died at age 2 from an Unidentified cancer. But King John was first to die at age 56, from lung cancer. Queen Mackenzie died from a a heart attack at age 67. King Edward became king, then his son, but his son died two months after his rule. Elizabeth became king along with her Husband Liam, then their son became king and his son did as well." Their teacher said.
"What about their other daughter, Charlotte?" Jamie asked.
"She never became queen of that specific kingdom. She was married to a Prince, who then became a king for France, only for a few years, then Charlotte died at age 22, because people accused her of incest with her cousin, she was killed. That's when her brother fought with France, and their hatred for each other stayed for centuries. But my essential question for you kids is, why were King John and Queen Mackenzie so important to our history?"
"They did many great things?" A student answered.
"No." Mrs. lee said.
"Is it because he was a duke's son?"
"That is partially correct. Their family was crazy. Her sister, who was in line, got banned, so she had to become queen. She married for love, to a duke's son. She was kidnapped and presumed dead. Her husband accidentally killed a girl. Her brother in law beat her sister. So many crazy things happened in their lives, which made then one of the most popular Royal family today."
"What happened to her sons, the ones who were considered bastards?" Karly asked
"No one knows. It was only seventy years ago when historians found old books, containing information about their lives. It was truly a miracle."
"Mrs.Lee, Why are you so interested in this family?" Kelly asked.
"Because, even though they're so incredibly famous, you kids today aren't learned enough about them. Not about their lives, only their duties. I hate how in the books, it barley mentioned their lives, how they lived. Their story is good enough to be a reality tv show." Everyone nodded. "Now class, I want you to write a narrative or explanatory essay about their family. If you choose to do narrative, make sure to add real details."
No one liked doing narratives, except for Angelina. She wrote for hours that week, and turned in a 24 page essay. Aka, the book you're reading. It took two weeks for her teacher to read it, but she got an A+.
