So this is going to be a bit different then my usual poetry. This is actually a song I've recently been working on. I'm still missing a bridge and some verses but I have the main chores down and I thought I could share it with you guys.
I want all your love right now,
I try to tell you by speaking loud.
Drowned out by the sounds of the world,
You go and leave me for another girl.
I'm happy you can be happy with her,
Go out into the world and mature.
(I still love you I can concor)
Just tell me how it went out there,
Because I'm afraid to leave
after you left me bare.
I try to hold all my tears in my eyes,
You see them as happy tears though I despise.
Is it selfish for me to still want you right now,
Even though you've broken my heart
and done me foul.
Wanting us to dance and me to twirl,
But you leave me again for another girl.
