Nothing is more painful
Than a paper cut because it doesn't bleed
I feel as though I am a paper cut
I stopped bleeding
But I still hurt
Nothing is more painful
Than watching your best friend
Chose another
Watching them as you become less important
To them
Watching as that one person
Steals her away
And keeps you in the dark on purpose
Nothing is more painful
Than having everyone you trusted
Turn their backs on you
Having none of them stand up for you
And they watch you suffer more and more
And get angry when I snip the last thread
Nothing is more painful
Than trusting your heart before your friends
Than trusting your outside friends
More than your inside ones
Because at least you know
Your outside friends will have your back
And stand up for you
While your inside friends watch
As you drown
And watch as your "friend" and their "friend"
Is the one drowning you
