Hello, beauties! I'm back from Spring Break and I have so many new things to post about but first, someone requested me to do a post on how to get strong nails. And so for this post I'll give you guys 5 tips on growing strong nails.Honestly, I don't do much with my nails. I don't like painting them or anything. I try to grow them as much as I can but sometimes they break. At least I stopped biting them. Anyway, I think some of these tips are actually really good for growing them strong. Let me know if any of them worked for you! (Everyone is different and what might work for some might not always work for others but it's worth a try).

1.Try to keep them out of water

Avoid excessive water on nails bto keep them from breaking. Having them in water for too long can overhydrate them. To keep them from getting soft use gloves when washing dishes and try not to take long hot showers or staying too long in the pool.

2. File Properly

If you don't know how to file it can break them. First clip them then shape them with a "fine-grit cushion file" don't use a metal file. They are rougher on the sides your nails. Also file always on one direction, sawing back and forth with the file can weaken the nail's edges.

3.Take Biotin Supplements

"Biotin, a water-soluble vitamin, is the only supplement scientifically proven to strengthen nails. It is nontoxic and has no known side effects, but you may want to double check with your doctor before beginning a daily regimen."

"Researchers tested the effects of biotin on women with brittle nails, and found a 25 percent increase in nail thickness, reduced splitting of the nails, and normalizing of overall brittle nails after six to nine months. "

4. Stop polishing them so much

We all love getting new nails. I know you all start thinking about what nail color to get next as soon as you get out of the salon. But polishing nails so much without giving them a rest can leave them brittle, thin and dry. When your nail polish starts peeling take off the nail polish and let your nails rest for at least a week before going to the salon again.

5. At Home-Care
