Luna's POV:

"Psss, Luna wake up."
"Mmmm,"
"Come on Lu, wake up."
"Mmmmm,"
"I got this, Lagoona. Come on Luna wake up, it's oysters for breakfast, and then seahorse practice."
". . . I'm only doing this for the breakfast."
"Alright then, off to the dining room," Aqua said. I know oysters for breakfast sounds disgusting, but you just need the right sauce that agrees with your tung, and then they taste good. My little sister Aqua loves them just as much as me. And Lagoona loves seahorse riding more than me. This is just a normal day in the kingdom of The Blue Moon. Except these three days have been special.
My mother, Regina: blonde hair, green eyes—I'm the only one who shows a resemblance to her because of my eyes—a beautiful white tail with the lightest of colors that make a rainbow—no one has seen a tail like this in so long—and the Queen of The Blue Moon. She was already in the dining room, "Sleeping in again girls?" "It was Luna," both my sisters said in unison. What kind of little sisters turn their back on the older one? "Well actually mom, we—mostly me—are not late. You are just early."
"A queen is never late, everyone else is simply early." That's the best thing she's ever taught me—so far.

🧜🏻‍♀️after breakfast🧜🏻‍♀️

"I can't flipping believe you just did that to mom," Aqua said. She's the smallest of my two siblings, black hair with turquoise highlights at the bottom, light blue eyes, and a turquoise mermaid tail. And then there's Lagoona: brown hair with blue highlights, dark blue eyes, and a light and dark blue mermaid tail. "You girls go ride on first." Even though it's not safe to go and do something crazy after breakfast. That won't agree with your stomach later.
And then there's me. Luna: brown hair with seaweed green highlights, seaweed green eyes, a lovely green tail with a bit of gold. And the future queen of this kingdom. I don't need to ride seahorses because I'm just as fast as them with this tail. Mom says I may have her tail, but I have my fathers speed, strength, and sense of adventure. "Rey, will you please inform my sisters that I will be in The Guppy's Children's Hospital helping out with the children." He was my dads right hand man, most trusted advisor, and best friend. "Yes princess, I will send a few guards with you."
Only two months left till my twenty-first birthday. It's time to do some queenly duties, and be a queen that shows she cares about children. And besides, the children love having me there.

🧜🏻‍♀️time skip🧜🏻‍♀️

I was sitting on the windowsill with my mind above water, when it should be under it. It was so above water, that I didn't even hear the doors open. "Oh no, our big sister's thinking about the surface again," Lagoona said. "When she should really be thinking about what dress to pick out tomorrow," Aqua said.
"I'm not in the mood now girls." "And now, she's being mature. Like she has been most of the day." Lagoona said. "Come on, Aqua, let's go to bed, mom says she's got something big planed tomorrow." And then they shut the doors. Even though my mind is above water, I'm pretty sure that big plan is all about me.

Yes, I did just quote from The Princess Diaries 2 Royal Engagement. Because why not.
