Pictures found on Pinterest. I didn't draw that, credit goes to whoever did. Featuring the song Listen to Your Heart by Roxette (1988) they repeat the title 12 times 😆 you can listen to the original version (the pop version) or the acoustic version, or the piano version, it's the lyrics that matter.

Luna's POV:

Imagine this: except no angels hanging from the side, and tables with seats instead of more food

I missed this place. A big ballroom with two floors, and at the top of the stairs, four seats, one for each family member. "Alright, start the music, it's time to dance," Mom said. "I've never seen you like this before." "It's your 21'st birthday," she brought me in for a hug. "And you're back home safe and sound and in one piece." "Thanks mom."
"Now if you'll excuse me dear, I have an old friend to dance with so he'll lose weight." Me and my sisters couldn't help but giggle.

I've danced with each prince, putting up a fake smile in front of them and everyone, well sometimes it's fake sometimes it's not. But let's face it, he's gone, he's not coming back.
"Alright everyone, I have an announcement to make," when the Queen speaks, its as quiet as the ocean on a not so windy day. "We have special guests coming, don't be afraid or panic, my daughter Luna can assure you that they will do us no harm."
The ballroom doors opened, and there were gawks, gasps, and whispers of fear all around. Pirates have entered the ballroom. "He looks handsome, doesn't he Luna?" "Isn't that the outfit dad had on when it was your 21'st birthday, mom?" "*Sigh*, I remember it like it was only yesterday." Oh wow, his hair, his eyes, if he'd fix his eyebrows he could be part of this family. "Your Majesty, it is an honor to be here, in a world I never thought was real." Bowing like a gentleman. "If it weren't for my daughter, you wouldn't be here." More gawks, gasps, and whispers. "Regina, explain this," King (k3/n) said. "Yes, what are humans, nay, what are pirates doing here?" King (k4/n) said.
"Don't worry mother, I can explain." I'm 21 years old, it's time I speak up like a queen.

"Not too long ago," a month and three weeks ago, "I wanted to see what it was like up on land. So I traded The Heart of the Ocean for legs." Gasps and whispers. "I woke up on a deserted island, but on the other side of it, was captain Arthur Kirkland and his crew. If it weren't for him, I would be stuck on that island forever." No gasps, just whispers. "He took me to his ship, taught me how to fight, and I got to know him and his crew. I was never afraid, because my mother—the queen—taught me to never show fear." Silence all around. "Even when I found out he was after The Heart of the Ocean, I still wasn't afraid, because I knew he wouldn't hurt me. When we were attacked by the most fearsome trio of the seven seas, I wasn't afraid, because I knew he would protect me no matter the cost. And when we were attacked by my aunt Victoria—your would-have-been Queen—who had The Heart of the Ocean, and my mother and sisters tied up, I did what I had to do. I fought her to the death, and killed her." The gasps and whispers were back. "I proved the hard way that I could be the queen. I did that to protect and save the seven seas, I did that to protect and save the ones I love, weather they have a tail," I looked at his crew. "Or legs, weather they are royalty," I looked at him this time. "Or just a pirate."

"Those . . . Were the words of a Queen," King (k4/n) said.
"And that was the speech of a Queen," King (k3/n) said. There were cheers and applauses. "Your father would be proud of you." "Thanks mom."

The orchestra and chorus are back from their brake, but I'm too tired to dance.
"May I have this dance?" I'm second thought, never mind. "It'd be my pleasure. When was the last time we danced, Arthur?" "I think it was on an Island In The Sun." "Ha ha very funny." Everyone was looking at us. "Don't worry sis, we got your back." Aqua went over to Alfred. "Come on handsome, let's dance." And Lagoona went over to this boy with a long curl on his left side, and with eyes that I couldn't tell if they were open or closed.
"Ciau bella sirena." "Awww how cute, Italian right?" "Si." "Great, now let's dance." "Fratello look, I'm-a gonna dance with a sirena." "Whatever."
The composers and singers are ready. "Alright, one, two, three . . ."

"I know there's something in the wake of your smile
I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yea
You've built a love but that love falls apart
Your little piece of heaven turns too dark."

"Listen to your heart when he's calling for you
Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do
I don't know where you're going and I don't know why,
But listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye."
"Well would you look at that, I never knew Alfred could dance." "Ah, so that wanker can do more then eat food."

"Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile
The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yea
They're swept away and nothing is what is seems,
The feeling of belonging to your dreams."

"Listen to your heart when he's calling for you
Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do."

"I don't know where you're going and I don't know why,
But listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye."
"You dance lovely captain." "Well it's easy, just move like the water; left and right, and back and forth." There were more merpeople dancing now, some with pirates like Antonio, Francis, and Gilbert.

"And there are voices that want to be heard
So much to mention but you can't find the words
The sense of magic, the beauty that's been
When love was wilder than the wind."

"Listen to your heart when he's calling for you
Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do"
I don't know where you're going and I don't know why,
But listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye."
"Hang on love." "Hang wh-woh—"
He picked me up bridal style, and we spun around.

"Listen to your heart when he's calling for you
Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do."
Our faces were closer now, I couldn't wait any longer, I know neither one of us could.

"I don't know where you're going and I don't know why,
But listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye."
So I made the first move . . . And kissed him.

I did it, I Listened to my heart . . . and his lips taste like rum.
