Jack smiled back at me, as we stood there awkwardly, the Christmas movie rolling.

He looked nothing like the Frost depicted in the movie. He wasn't a short elf nor a greedy boy from what I could tell. He's attention had went to the movie for a short while, disgusted by how the creators told this story. He quickly grabbed the remote and turned off the television, proceeding to lay on my couch.

"What are you doing?" I ask flatly.

"Getting comfortable. Is there a problem with that?" He asks back smirking. He's arrogant for sure, but you can tell he gets lonely.

"As long as the room doesn't freeze over. Don't you have like a job to do? I don't know, making more snow or some ritual thing." I ask bewildered by his amused expression. He begins to sit up as wind fucking blows me over the couch and I land on my head.

"What the every loving fuck." I half yell, quickly falling off the couch once more. Jack on the other hand just laughs at my idiocy and couches.

"I'm going to get my revenge one day and you will all bow down to me and my spoons!" I threaten him, bringing out a plastic spoon I carry everywhere in case I need to defend myself.

"Hey, calm down. Look I don't get to talk to many people. Sure kids have started to believe now but it's rare finding someone like you. It's four in the morning, your the only sa-. Well your the only person awa-........you fell asleep."

--

The morning birds were not there, this started out as a good morning. I awoke on the couch wrapped tenderly in my blanket. Rush decided that pouring half melted snow on me as I slept was a delightful way to awake me this morning. "TIME TO PELT KIDS WITH SNOWBALLS!" He yells as he runs away out the front door.

I slowly walk toward the window covered with frost. Yes I was freezing but might as well check for signs that last night was real. The frost was still there but what about Jack? Was he real? Maybe it was a dream and I was sleepwalking. yeah that's probably it.

I begin to make my way to the bathroom, ready to take a much needed warm shower, damn Rush.

--

The kitchen was empty and though I was too lazy, the stomachs called for breakfast and I wanted some eggs. 'Rush can make his own breakfast. Bastard with his stupid snow. I quickly grabbed the necessary items, turned in pandora and sang along to the music flooding the room.

Bailando~ bailando~

"What does that mean? Ba- bai- whatever you had said" a voice, sounding a lot like Jack, said curiously from behind.

Startled, I dropped the pan I held over the plate to the floor burning my foot in the process. "Aah! Owowowowowowowowowowowowowwowowow DAMN IT JACK WHAT THE HELL!" I yell at the boy smiling back at me, I had turned around grabbing my foot. Sadly for me, I'm a total kluts.

I had started to fall backwards, inevitably going to land on the sizzling pan with egg still in it. I only stared in front of myself and quickly closing my eyes as I was about to land on the pan, preparing for the pain that never arrived. Instead I felt a chill touch my back holding me in place.

"You can open your eyes."

As I cracked one open, I was met with the same lapis blue eyes that captured my attention only the night before. "Instead of trying to be the hero, you could always not scare someone and act like a decent person." I retort looking coldly at him waiting for a response. I got one but not from the person I thought it would be from.

"I don't think I decent person would be floating a foot off the floor." Rush states staring at me.

"I'm not floating Rush. Do you now see the white haired boy holding me up? Come on I met Jack Frost!" I ask my roommate, sarcasm being my favorite thing in the world.

".....I don't have white hair......" Rush states pointing at his brown hair. He looked puzzled and scared for his hair.

"Ash, he can't see me. He doesn't believe in me. it's normal for that to happen." Jack tells me, acting as if this was a completely normal situation.

"Oh that's easy. Rush, believe in Jack Frost cause he's right in front of me, keeping me from burning my back in the pan. You can lift me up by the way," I say talking to both of them. Rush confused as he always is.

"Nah, probably just some cosplaying creep. It's a bullshit fairytale."Rush states bored now as I start to stand up once more. I quickly run I front of him, blocking his passage.

"RUSH," I yell, grabbing his shoulders, "BELIEVE!" And as soon as I end my sentence a snowball comes hurdling toward us hitting rush smack in the face. he also got me but most of it landed on the intended target.

"What the fu-" Rush begins but as before was interrupted by the white fluff.

Again and again Jack continued to hit him, not missing a heartbeat. I was laughing so hard, complementing Jack on his precision. Until Rush grabbed his hand, looked him straight in the eyes and said,

"Who the fuck are you?"
