[Louis's POV]

I look up at Harry, seeing his eyes still wide, gaping at Niall. "Harry?" I questioned him, trying to get his attention. He didn't move, let alone look at me. "Harry?" I questioned him, a little louder. I tugged his shirt, trying to capture my boyfriend's attention, with no luck. "Harry!" I yelled in his ear, making him wince and look down at me.

"What?" he asked. What? Oh, I don't know, maybe you standing there looking at Niall, who you happen to fucking know, is making me confused as hell? Knowing I couldn't yell at him and question how he knows Niall, I just sigh.

"Are you okay?" I ask him, stealing a glance towards Niall who is now whispering to Lottie. Harry nods and smiles, pecking me on the lips.

"I'm fine," he told me, kissing my forehead. He walks back to the kitchen to help my mum with dinner, I think. I turn towards the outside, to see nobody there. I look behind me in the living room to see all of my sisters, watching the telly.

Where's Niall? I walk into the kitchen to see my Mum, alone, mixing up the spaghetti sauce for dinner. "Mum, where's Niall and Harry?" I ask her. She turns around and shrugs.

"Don't have a clue, Boo. Hey, may I chat with you for a minute?" she asks me, with a stern look in her eyes. Oh lord, here we go. I sit down on one of the stools at the bar stand where Mum was still mixing the sauce, adding some spices here and there.

"What's up, Mum?" I ask her with a forced smile.

Without looking up at me, she asks, "Why are you dating Harry?"

I feel my eyes widen, but quickly add on a laugh, acting as if it's obvious why I'm dating him. It's because you like him... but you also like Niall, no biggie. "Because I fancy him, Mum. That's how people do it nowadays, you know?" I tell her, sarcastically. She stops her mixing and looks up at me. She moves her head, looking at me from left to right.

"You're lying," she states. I open my mouth to prove her wrong, only to have her interrupt me. "I know you are, don't hide it. And I know it's none of my business, but you shouldn't lead him on, Louis. It's not fair to him or to you," she tells me, her blue eyes that resemble mine, full of worry.

"You're right... It is none of your business," I say, getting up from the stool, heading up to my old room.

I was about to enter it, when I heard voices inside. "Niall, we can't tell them," a deep, husky voice says. Harry? I hear someone sigh.

"I know, but we should at least tell Louis and Lottie we know each other. It's a bit obvious with how we were fucking staring at each other down there," Niall says, making me blush by just hearing his accent.

"Niall, I don't want to hurt Louis." Why would he hurt me?

"Yeah, me neither...But, you know, about Lottie," Niall says, saying the second part quite fast. I hear Harry snort.
