HOOKS's POV

"Emma," I whispered, holding her hand. She had been asleep for two weeks, her brain slowly healing. I had come to see her every day, sometimes even at night. I missed her so much, her gentle touch, her smile when she saw me, our moments together, just being together. I missed her eyes and the way they sparkled when she laughed, a real wholesome laugh. I missed the way her hair fell into her face and she would let me brush it away. I missed our suppers at granny's and our long talks. I missed Emma.

I wiped away a tear that had fallen, and smiled at her. Even bruised and tired, she still looked beautiful. I leaned down and kissed her forehead, brushing a stray hair away. My chest ached when her eyes didn't open, and all I was left with was the steady beeping of the monitor. I let go of her hand, and whispered

"I love you Emma."

I entered our apartment together, and found Henry at the table, pouring over the new book. Grace was across from him, with another one of the five. They both greeted me with a smile, and I returned it with a weak one. Reaching for a book, I grabbed the icy one off the stack.

I flipped mindlessly through the pages until I found the one on Elsa. She was still alone in storybrooke, and she seemed very sad. I felt the urge to go to her, and so I stood up, said goodbye to Henry, and took the book out the door with me. I was going to help that princess.

I meandered on down Main Street and found the row of apartments. I checked the row of names and buzzed her number. The door opened, and I headed up the stairs. The apartment was cold, and there was a thin layer of ice reaching out under it. Careful not to slip, I ran the doorbell.

"Elsa? Do you want to build a snowman?"

I heard a laugh from inside, and the door opened.

"Go away, Anna."

"Okay bye," I smiled, entering the apartment.

I slid into a chair as Elsa grabbed a cup of hot cocoa.

"So, Captain Hook, what brings you to my humble abode?"

"I'm going to help you get home," I replied simply.

"I wish you could, but it's simply impossible. We would need another traveling device to get to my realm," she sighed, frowning.

"I happen to have one of the sort. See, when I was coming to this land, I found a witch, who had a few more beans left from the great ogre wars. I knew I needed to get back to my princess, so I traded my ship for three magic beans. I still have two, in case there Is a need for a quick escape, and you can have one, if you'll help me."

Elsa gave me a confused look, and I smiled.

"So that's her?" She asked as we stood in front of the glass box holding Emma.

"Yes, that's my princess, and I need you to wake her."

"Alright," agreed Elsa, stepping through the doors. The rest of the charming family stood behind me, including Regina. Elsa stepped gently over to the bed, and placed a hand on Emma's head. She began to whisper, and Emma glowed with a bright blue light. She sat up with a gasp, and shook her head. The last of the light receded, and she closed her eyes. When she opened them again, she smiled, and stood up. I winked at Elsa, and opened the door. I hugged Emma, feeling her heartbeat against my chest once again. I ran my hands through her hair, and kissed her once again. I wiped the tears from her eyes, and she ran to greet her parents. I walked over to Elsa.

"Good job pirate," she smiled at me," you really are a hero."

I handed her a bean, and smiled.

As I watched her leave, I thought about the last two months. I walked back over to the charmings and David grinned at me, before pulling me into the group hug. I was finally a hero, and, finally home.
