Dulst's POV

I sat in front of the wood bar, with a cup of steaming hot herbal tea, watching with an amused expression at the brawl that tumbled around the guild hall. All the fighting started again as soon as the Tenrou group had returned.

Natsu the Salamander was ready to torch the place.

Gray was in his midnight blue underwear, calling Natsu "flame for brains".

Elfman was declaring his manliness as he flexed his muscles.

So pretty much, it was the same old same old.

I really did miss it all for those years.

Iros strided towards me with her typical stoic attitude, her icy hair drifting behind her. She handed a job poster to me without a word, a determination flickering in her stone eyes. I smirked over the rim of my porcelain cup. "No hello? Not even a smile? Why, I feel so hurt!" I placed a hand dramatically over my heart, my orange-blonde ribbons of hair falling over my shoulder.

She sighed, "Morning, Strawberry."

I nodded my head contentedly. "That's much better," With my free hand, I lifted the tattered and aged poster closer to my face. After skimming what it read, I spit the tea in my mouth out onto the poor soul standing next to me, Freed. He shot be a glare before awkwardly waddling away. I stared at the poster wide eyed, "300,000 jewel?!"

A few guild members shot us curious glances but most everyone was more interested in the brawl that was still going on. And now tearing some floor boards out.

"Yes." Was Iros's typical curt answer, "We should leave immediately, if we want to make it to the town before dark."

I ducked as a beer barrel went soaring over my head. It was a tad sad that I was so used to this that it didn't faze me one bit. Once I righted myself I tilted my head at Iros, "Can't we wait until tomorrow or something? I'm going to need to pack..." I lied quickly.

She merely scoffed at me, "How long does it take you to pack?"

"Well I did have plans for the day...."

Iros's eyes cut into my soul like knives, "Oh really? What kind of plans do you have that are oh-so important?" I could hear the sarcasm dripping from her voice.

I smirked at glanced over to where a certain green haired member sat, watching the fight from the sidelines as he wiped his tea-stained trench coat with a towel Mirajane had provided him. "I was going to tease Freed and then probably get into some kind of fight with Natsu or... Gray."

I didn't know it was possible, but her glare got even colder than usual, "Why are you always flirting with him? Everyone in Magnolia knows that he's nothing to you but a toy to play with as you please. I feel so sorry for that Freed." The rumble of a storm brewing could be heard. All the guild members stopped their fighting to look at us, knowing that Iros must have be pretty irritated with something.

Not wanting to make a scene, I rolled my eyes and pouted. "Fiine. Give me an hour." With a sigh, I placed my unfinished cup of tea, steam still finding it's way into the air, on the bar and made my way through the curious crowd and out the doors.

I took my time strolling through the gorgeous town of Magnolia, waving and smiling at people on the street who only glared in return. I happily smelled the multitude of spring blossoms being sold by a street vendor. Then I had stopped and bought food that Iros and I could eat on the train ride, plus a little extra just in case.

Finally reaching my tiny red paneled home on the edge of town, I swiftly packed supplies that could last me at least three days. Clothes, food, live coal containers, and seeds (duh). I also made sure to remember to bring Howl and my gorgeously designed twin daggers. I feel that a wizard should be able to defend themselves even without the use of magic.
