Boyf riends/ Rough Day?

Michael was over at his friend's Evan's house. Evan had always mentioned he had a step brother and Michael even met him a few times. Jeremy was his name. Jeremy and Michael never really actually talked, well except for that one time when They were making gingerbread houses and Evan had to go to the bathroom... that was awkward.

"I'm just saying bro, team Iron man for the win." Michael said
"No way! It's team cap!" Evan argued.
"What ever you say tree huger" Michael laughed
"It was one time! I swear why do you-" Evan was cut off by loud music.

Both boys heard it

"Uhmmmm????" Michael questioned.
"Oh, its u-uhm Jere. He gets in these moods sometimes. You can't really help him till he gets it all out." Explained Evan.
"Moods like??"
"Depressed. Mom, dad, and me can never help him. He doesn't want our help."
"Well, I'll just have to change that huh?"
"Good luck on that one buddy. Now back to-"
"I'm not joking man"

And with that; Michael marched out of Evans room across the hall to Jeremy's. Michael hesitated. Should he knock? Or should he just walk in?

He went with the second option. 
As he opened Jeremy's door what he was met with broke his heart.

Jeremy was sobbing into a pillow while Therapy by All Time Low played

"Hey,I uhm, Jeremy?" Michael spoke causing the other boy to jump a little.
"Shit, uh sorry. I just wanted to help... ya know?" Jeremy stared at Michael, terrified. Michael walked over to his bed, causing Jeremy to back up against the wall.

"Hey hey hey, I'm not going to hurt you. Okay? I just want to talk things out and maybe if you feel better we can beg Evan to buy us some ice cream?" Michael spoke in a soft reassuring voice.

Jeremy nodded, almost if as he was unsure. Michael smiled.

"Sweet, so let's get straight to the point. What's wrong" Michael asked.
"Just a rough day." Replied Jeremy.
"Well no shit Sherlock." Michael laughed causing Jeremy to smile weakly. 
"But for real. Load it on me, anything that's making you feel this way; tell me about it."

And so he did, Jeremy talked about how everyday he felt alone, forgotten, even told him about JD an Jefferson being assholes and tormenting him. And Michael helped him through it. Whenever Jeremy broke down crying, Michael would hug him and calm him down. Whispering things like. "Hey its gonna be okay" and "you don't have to finish, I understand" by the end of the night, the two were fast asleep cuddling in Jeremy's bed.

Sup dudes, sorry if this is bad. I just had this idea come to my head and decided to write it! And for those of you confused; Evan's mom married Jeremy's dad, so that's why they're step bros.
