A/N: Hi everyone! Sorry, I'm a lil bit late :). My last volleyball tournament of the season was out of town for the entire weekend so I didn't get a chance to write. But I'm here now cuz I made an effort to finish up my homework for y'all so here we are :)

Bakugou lay there, crumpled on the dusty dirt path for who knows how long. He stared into space, waiting for the voices to fade away. And as time passed, they sort of did. They weren't exactly quieter, but they were less insistent now that they were being ignored. But Bakugou still lay there for a bit, trying to master himself.
In the back of his mind, he heard the clopping of hooves, but they had to be far away. Or maybe the person would just ride past and leave Bakugou be. No one should see him like this.
But what is "this"? No one should see me like what?
What's wrong with me?
The whispers in his head all seemed to start at that, surging upward.
It's the guilt of your own pathetic excuse for murder.
But this time, Bakugou didn't push the voices away. Because he knew what they were saying was true.
Then, the clopping of hooves stopped. A voice sounded out - female, and clearly nervous.
"Uh - hey, um... you okay?"
Bakugou turned quickly, springing to his feet without realizing how weak he was at the knees. He staggered, feeling bile rise up in his constricted throat.
The girl was pretty, in a sort of emo-ish rock music way. She had dark raven hair in some strange hacked-up hairstyle. She wore armor and a jeweled sword scabbard and she had some sort of weird-dangly things coming out of her ears. Her voice had something strange in it- powerful, resonating. She must have some kind of skill with sound. Her onyx eyes had widened quizzically as she watched Bakugou stagger, and she reached out a hand, which was kind of pointless because she was still sitting astride her fucking PEGASUS.
"I t-tripped." Was all Bakugou could mutter out.
The girl's lip's tightened and she scoffed - not in a hostile way, but in a kind of half-amused way.
"Sure. You're headed to Cappadocacia, yeah? I can give you a ride, you don't look like you're in any fit state to walk there. You're not even wearing shoes."
Bakugou felt like his legs were about to crumble under him anyway, (and he definitely would not fall in front of a stranger he just met) so he just nodded mutely and accepted her hand as she hoisted him up behind her.
Together, they rode the next mile into the village, Bakugou basking in the fact that well...
This girl couldn't seem to tell that he was a murderer.
And that scared him - because there was nothing abnormal, noticeable, conspicuous about him.
But he'd fucking killed his own boyfriend.
oof.
