Joys Of Childhood

Beyond the Dawn, abounding innocence
Till the jovial eves,
Like a frivolous fawn forth fence
I leapt beneath the leaves.

Floating on clouds of Fairy Floss,
Liquorice and Lollies too!
I fancied jars of Irish moss
But taffy's hard to chew.

Granny's tales and enchanting nights,
Left its sweet essence.
Mommy's lap and sibling fights,
transcended all opulence.

I miss my innocence all after,
Now, I found those days too good.
I miss collapsing in endless laughter
I wish, I return to the Joys Of Childhood.
