Fifty Shades of Dark

Chapter 10.

Six Years Later.

I groaned when the alarm went off. I hit the snooze button before rolling onto my side. I opened my eyes when I realized I was too wide awake to go back to sleep. I smiled when I saw Al fast asleep with our children's little bodies draped over him like a blanket. They grinned when they saw me looking at them.

Al opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling about a minute before whining. I giggled." There's nothing about this is funny." He whispers.

"It is to me." I whispered back. He glares at me." Ok it's not funny....it's damn adorable."

He sighs." The last one to get up isn't getting ice cream." He says. They all roll off of him as quick as they could, almost knocking me off the bed. Al chuckled. He sat up." Morning Elena," he kisses our oldest child," morning Gabby." He kisses our middle." Morning Parker." He kisses our son, the youngest, asleep on the other side of him.

Al carefully gets out of bed, trying not to wake Parker. Al walks around to my side of the bed to kiss me." Morning my beautiful wife."

"Morning grumpy." I said, smiling.

"I have every right to me. Those girls are going to send me to the hospital one day." He says, making faces at Gabby and Elena. They laughed and made faces back.

I smiled." You know love it." I teased.

He sighs." Yeah unfortunately I do."

"Daddy can I get ice cream for breakfast?" Gabby asked. Gabby is four years old and looks so much like Cassy. She has Cassie's skin complexion, eyes, nose, Al's mouth and dark hair in messy pigtails. Elena on the other hand is 6. She every bit of Al, except for her dark eyes. Her dark waves is matted from sleeping on it. Parker is 3, and a splitting image of Al except his hair is tightly curled. My beautiful family.

"Absolutely not....with out pancakes." Al says.

"Yay!" Gabby screams. Parker woke up and looks at all of us. He turns his back to us then comes back to sleep.

"Last one in the kitchen is a rotten egg!" Elena yells. Elena jumps out of bed and running out of the bedroom.

"Cheater!" Gabby yells after Elena. Gabby drives out the bed and began to run and her hands and knees. To my surprise Parker got up and ran after them. Al and I both laughed. He pulls me of the bed and we walked hand in hand to the kitchen.
