Chapter 5

Brielle's POV

It was Ash. Of course it was Ash. She was pissed off that I got detention.

"Miss Fine, what are you doing in here?" Mr Brian asked. She looked at me and smirked.

"Well looks like I got detention too." She handed him a piece of paper which I'm guessing is the detention paper. She stood by the desk while he read the paper. Arms crossed and smirking at me. As if she's about to win a prize.

"Detention for PDA huh?" Mrs Brian said looking up at her with an eyebrow raised.

She suddenly stiffened and looked embarrassed. She did it on purpose but didn't want him to know it was about that.

Karmas a bitch.

"O-oh um y-yeah. I m-mean no t-they must've p-put t-the wrong t-thing. I d-didn't do t-that. I p-promise I d-did-"

"Okay you can stop now Miss Fine before you hurt yourself." Mr Brian said and rolled him eyes. I burst out laughing and she glares at me.

Oh if looks could kill I'd be dead right now.

"Go take a seat Miss Fine."

She walks and sits right beside me. I glanced at her and she was staring at Mr Brian. I looked at him and he was staring at me.

—one hour later—
Dentention was over, I was putting my stuff in my bag and about to leave when I heard Ash whispering. I glanced up and she was talking to Mr. Brian.

"So my parents are gone for the weekend. You wanna maybe come over and hangout." She whispered twirling her hair. I rolled my eyes and started to head out the door when I heard

"Actually I was supposed to help Miss May study this weekend. Sorry" Mr. Brian said aloud and I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around. He was looking at me as if waiting for me to go along.

"Um yeah. Yeah we were"

Ash huffed and fast walked out of the classroom. I giggled and Mr. Brian quietly chuckled. I turned to walk out and before I left I heard him say "can't wait to study." I ignored it and walked home.

—Saturday morning—
I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes and the birds chirping. I reached for my phone knowing Ash hasn't texted me.

I turned my phone on and I had an unknown text message.

Unknown: hey Brielle. You looked absolutely stunning yesterday.

Me: um who is this

Two seconds later I got a reply

Unknown: oh you know who this is. Don't be stupid. I can't wait for our study session😉

It's Mr. Brian. I rolled my eyes and left him on read.

I got up and walked downstairs to see that I was home alone. There was a note on the fridge that read "got called into work. I won't be home till tomorrow evening. I'm sorry honey I love you." I'll be home alone all weekend.

I got back up to room and looked at my phone. I had three new messages. From Mr. Brian. I opened them up and read them.

Mr. Brian: I don't like being left on read.

A second later

Mr. Brian: But with you I'll always wait. I can't wait to see you

Another second later

Mr. Brian: but you will be punished for leaving me on read.

Wow this man cannot be anymore creepy yet hot at the same time. I lay back in bed and text him back.

Me: Well your in luck my mom is gone until tomorrow night.

I got a text back almost immediately

Mr. Brian: good I'm coming

This man is really weird. Yet somehow I'm really intrigued.

I laid down and drifted back off to sleep. I woke up to banging on the door. I jumped up and looked at the time, it's been two hours.

Could it be.... no it couldn't be. I slowly walked down the stairs to more banging on the door. I opened the door a little. Of course it's not him.

It's Ash.
