My dad hit Jaime's arm lightly when he asked that. I couldn't blame him for the question though. Artemis looked like a twelve year old and not nearly old enough to be the mother of my seventeen year old brother.

"Yes I am. Clint... It's nice to see you again."  The girl told our dad

"You look nothing like you did when we met." He told her

"Maybe this would look more familiar." She said

Artemis' form morphed into a full grown woman. She had the same silver eyes as Jaime and the same dark hair. My mom looked at my dad then at Artemis.

"So when did the two of you meet exactly?" She asked

"It was before we married Nat don't worry." Dad responded

"Yes. Now I can't stay long. Something terrible is happening and the gods have been called. I will only be gone for about two days so the hunters will have to stay here." She explained disappearing

"Well with this development you all know the drill. Serena explain to them what's happening tomorrow." Will said

"What's happening?" I asked

"Well whenever the hunter of Artemis visit we play this game. It's basically capture the flag only we're allowed to use weapons but we can't kill people or maim them." She explained

"The cabins are spilt into two teams and basically turns into a war." Caleb followed up.

"Fun." I mumbled

"Well we'll see you guys tomorrow." Lilly said waving and walking towards the Hermes cabin

Time skip to the next day

The Ares cabin wasn't that bad. They did warn me about the landmines around the cabin though. That was weird. Who the Hell keeps landmines around their cabin?

"Hey kids? What's that?" My dad asked

He pointed to what looked like a climbing wall but there was... Lava... pouring down.

"Oh that's just our climbing wall." Serena said dismissively.

We all just stared at her like she was crazy. And suddenly the landmines don't sound all that insane.

"Ok it's official. You guys are crazy." Jaime said.

"It's not that bad." Caleb said.

"So how exactly is the capture the flag game going to work tonight?" I asked

"it's the entire camp against the Hunters. And even then we can't seem to beat them." Caleb told us

"I can already hear it. 'the hunters win for the 57th time in a row.'" Serena said sarcastically.

"It can't be that bad." Liberty stated

"Oh trust me sis. It is." Caleb told her.

"RACE TO THE TOP OF THE CLIMBING WALL SERENA!" A male voice yelled

"Oh you are so on Valdez!" She yelled back

She ran after a short Latino boy.

"He looks like me before the super soldier serum." Uncle Steve mumbled

"That's Leo Valdez. He's a son of Hephaestus and can give dad a run for his money." Caleb said

"Oh can he now?" His dad asked

"Oh yeah. He can show you after Serena's done beating him." He responded

"Or you could show me yourself." Tony suggested

"Nah, because I would rather have witnesses." Caleb told him

"OK this tension is just a bit too much. Let's change the subject." Lilly said, intervening

"Your one to talk about parental tension." I told her

"Loki got my older sister sent off to a mental hospital and got my mom killed." She snapped

"I though he cleared that up." I said confused

"Do you really think that I would believe that lying son of a bitch? I think he forgot that I can see right through a persons lies, and god or not, he is no different." She responded, twirling her knife in her hand.

"You want to believe him though. You really do." I told her

She gave me a look and I gave a light laugh and leaned back. Me and Lilly like to call ourselves lie detector of the group and we can see through each others bullshit. The tea that her emotions are spilling is real, I swear.
