Ruruka x Seiko

Seiko was in her lab working on some potions. Someone had just came i for an antidote so she directed them to it. It was after school so not many people were there. All of a sudden, Ruruka burst in.

"Seiko!" She cried "I'm going to need a love potion! Stat!"

Seiko didn't dare ask why. She ran over to her lab and grabbed and bottle and ran back.

"Ok," Seiko began explaining. "This potion is extremely strong. If someone within a two foot radius smells it, they will be infected. Afterwords, the infected person will faint for a range of 2-15 minutes. When they wake up, the will fan in love with the first person they see. This is caused by the potion spreading to the brain and.."

"Blah! Blah! Blah!" Ruruka mocked. "Just give it to me already!"

Seiko handed her the antidote. Ruruka was on her way out when she decided to stop and offer Seiko some candy. When she turned around, she slipped on some type of liquid that had been spilt onto the floor. She fell, shattering the potion in her hands. Seiko had tried to prevent this by stepping forward to stop her from falling, bringing her into two foot radius of Ruruku. She could not catch her in time. As soon as the potion shattered, they both took a whiff of it and they had both fainted.

"Ughhh.." Ruruka mumbled. "Where.. am I?" She glanced around at her surroundings. Her vision was blurry. She glanced over and saw someone preparing something in the sink.

"Seiko??" She asked. Seiko turned around and gasped.

"O-oh! I didn't know you were awake Ruruka!" She said. "I woke up around 10 minutes ago."

"Wait so you fainted too?" Ruruka asked. "Wonder why.." Seiko had already calculated why and she was not prepared to break the news to Ruruku. Her plan was to get Yoi, the boy Ruruka liked in there as soon as Ruruka woke up, but she was not able to reach him in time.

Seeing Ruruka as soon as she woke up did not affect Seiko. You see, she had had a crush on Ruruka ever since she met her when they were kids. That was why she was always so loyal to her. She loved her. But Ruruka used her. Seiko herself did not really understand why she always stayed loyal to her no matter what she did to her.

Seiko tried to hide her self, but it was too late. Ruruku had already gotten a good look at her, and Ruruku was going to have to make an antidote.

Before Seiko could say goodbye, Ruruka had left.

It was the Saturday, the day after the love potion incident. Seiko was looking through all her potion recipes trying to find an antidote, meanwhile Ruruka was in her kitchen preparing some sweets.

Ruruka was fully aware she had drank the potion, but Seiko had reassured her that the first person she saw was indeed Yoi, and he had stopped in there before Ruruka had waken up completely. But Ruruka had her doubts. Even though Seiko told her this, she had no memory of seeing Yoi in there.

"Well if Seiko, my bestie who I trust said so, it's probably true." She told herself. But she couldn't help being doubtful. I mean, Seiko had never once eaten one of her sweets!

"Nah. Seiko would not do that! After all I lov- wait, what? Why am I thinking like that about Seiko?" She thought to her self. "She's a girl! Girls shouldn't think that way about each other! Plus, I love Yoi! He's my boy friend after all! I have no idea why I was thinking about her like that! I would never think of another girl like that!"

Suddenly, she smelled something bad. "Gah! The candy!"
Meanwhile, Seiko was trying her very best find an antidote. She was asking all the people she knew that worked in the same field and the answer was always, "No. Love potions are permanent!"

Seiko pulled down her mask and let out a long sigh. She laid herself against the brick wall in the front her house. It was starting to get dark. Her parents still hadn't come home. Ruruka hadn't talked to her all day.

The breeze flew through her hair. She could hear the birds chirping through the trees. The hot sun was beating down onto her face. Summer break was soon. Just a bit longer until June..

"Hey Seiko!" Ruruka cried while running down the street towards her and waving. Seiko's eyes widened. She looked around to see if there was anywhere she could hide, but it was too late. Ruruka was already standing in front of her. Their faces were only inches apart. Seiko blushed.

"Hey Seiko, do you know what kind of potion you gave me yesterday? My memory is a bit fuzzy so I don't exactly remember." Ruruka said in an innocent voice.

Seiko sighed. "I already told you Ruruka. It was a love potion."

"Okayyy!" She said in a cheerful tone."Then how come you took it to?"

Seiko's eyes widened. "H-how d-id you know?"

"Oh it was pretty obvious. All I had to do was smell your breath!" Ruruka explained.

"Seiko," Ruruka whispered. "I don't think Yoi was the first person I saw after taking that potion.."

"B-but.." Seiko began. "It shouldn't still be working! I gave you the antidote today at school."

"What?" Ruruka asked.

"I put it into your lunch while you were in the bathroom. Since you had been avoiding me all day, that was the only time I could give it to you." Seiko explained. Ruruka was dumbfounded. Then, how come she still felt this way about Seiko? How come she still wanted hug her and be with her all the time? She had to test her theory.

Ruruka turned Seiko to face her and kissed her. Seiko was taken back and backed up a bit, but kissed back. She was as red as a tomato. She was finally kissing her life long crush!
All of a sudden, Ruruka let go.

"Heh.. looks like my guess was right.." Ruruka lowered her head into her knees and blushed. "Guess I do like you.."

A/N Sorry for not updating for so long. School has been really stressful. Also, just to clarify, this is during high school. My theory behind their relationship is that Ruruku does not realize when she is manipulating Seiko and I wouldn't call this relationship "abusive" since this was before the events of Komaeda getting them expelled and causing their relationship to completely crumble. I think that if those events didn't happen, Seiko and Ruruku would have ended up working things out and having a healthy relationship again. I don't support abusive ships so yeah. I'm working on a long fic so ye.
