Packing up her things. Her dad squeezes her waist with his muscular arms.
"Do you have to go?" He whines.
She rolls her eyes. "We talked about this.
For months, all Sadie could think about was getting that scholarship. Going to college. Becoming a doctor. The college is a thousand miles from home. He parents don't want her to leave. But to Sadie, their opinion doesn't matter. She heads downstairs. Her mother hugs her.
"Do you really have to go?"
"Y'all wouldn't shut up about getting out the house. Now all of a sudden, I can't go."
"We didn't realize you'd be leaving so soon. So far away."
"I'll see you for the holidays."
Her mother showed tears. "I'll miss you so much."
"Just let her leave." Her brother commented. "The house would be much more peaceful."
Sadie gazed at Jax. Rolled her eyes. Turned back to her mother. "I'm gonna miss you."
Her mom squeezed her. Her dad joined in. Jax rolled his eyes. Continued fixing his skateboard. Sadie was on the road. Entering a new chapter of her life.
Arrived at the college campus. The guard blocks her path.
"Where are you going, ma'am?"
"Excuse me. I need to get by."
"May I get your name?"
Her chin lifted. "Sadie Hopkins."
His eyebrow raised. "You're attending this college."
She bobbed her head. "Hell yeah, mister. Outta my way."
"My I see your name tag?"
Sadie noticed her tag wasn't around her neck. She patted her entire body. "Dang it. I think I left it in my car."
"Go get it."
Sadie rushed to her car. Searched through her car. Not a tag in sight. A tall and charming fellow came up to her. His accent caught her attention.
"Do you need help?"
She sighed. "Do I look like I need help?"
"You seem frustrated."
She rolled her eyes. Turned to him. "What do you want?"
He giggled. "I was just wondering if you needed help? You don't have to have an attitude."
"I'm just looking for something. No help required."
Jamie looked down. Her name tag was at her feet. He picked it up.
"Looking for this?" He read the tag. "Sadie. That's your name."
She snatched it back. "Thanks."
Sadie arrived to class.
"Who are you?" Asked the teacher.
"Sadie Hopkins." She stuttered. "Sorry I'm late."
"Tardiness will not be tolerated."
Jamie came in. The teachers face lit up.
"James! What are you doing here?"
"Just visiting. She's I'm your class?"
The teacher chuckled. "You know this girl?"
"Sadie Hopkins? Yup. Don't be mad at her. It's my fault she's late. She was looking for her name tag. I just wasted her time."
"Well, I guess you're both get a pass. I can't stay mad at the prince."
It was late in the afternoon. Jamie was jamming to music in his car. Sadie knocked on the window. Jamie laughed.
"What's up?"
"I just wanna say thanks. Sorry for being such a bitch."
"It's alright."
"I was wondering if we could make things work out."
"I guess."
"Who are you? Are you even enrolled here? You just stop at random classes."
He laughed. "You seriously don't know who I am?"
"Not really."
"Do you have a television?"
"I own one. Don't really use it."
"Who's the queen of England?"
She laughed. "I'm I supposed to know that? Didn't even know England had a queen."
Jamie had to pause and think. "I guess we could make things work."
Sadie looked around. "Can I chill with ya?"
"You wanna get in my car?"
"If that's okay with you."
He chuckled. "Get your ass in this car."
Sadie cuddled with him.

The two talked for hours. It's been months. The two eventually fell in love. But they weren't very open about it. One morning, Sadie went to check her phone. No missed calls from Jamie. She tries calling him. But he doesn't answer. Melissa comes in.
"You seem frustrated."
"Jamie isn't answering his phone."
"He's probably asleep."
"He's usually awake at this time."
"Maybe nor today."
"Something doesn't feel right."
"I get it. It's your first boyfriend. You're having insecurities."
"He's not my boyfriend."
"You could ask him to be. He likes you back."
"How can you tell?"
"I can read minds."
Sadie went to the closet. "I'm gonna go see him."
"He might not be home."
"Where else could he be?"
"Maybe with his mother."
"His parents aren't in this country."
"What country do his parents live in?"
"I believe he said he was from the UK. I mean, you can tell from his accent."
"Jamie could be with his girl. . . . . Never mind."
"What?"
Melissa turned his head. "I said never mind."
"Did you say girlfriend?"
Melissa began to stutter. "Well, I mean, it's not like he's cheating. You're not even dating. But you'd be perfect for each other."
"You really think so?"
Melissa rolled her eyes. "Are you seriously gonna spend the day worrying about some guy?"
"No."
"You know what you should do?" Melissa suggested. "You're gonna spend the entire day without Jamie. We're going out into the city. I'll make you forget all about him."
Sadie grind. "That's really sweet. I better get dressed."
"We're not leaving now." Said Sadie. "I'm working on another story. Hopefully, I'll make money off this."
"What's it about?"
"I decided to make a fantasy. My other story wasn't very popular. Hopefully, this one will turn out better. It's about a superhero from another planet."
"Sounds interesting. I'm gonna take a shower.
Sadie and Melissa went out into the city.

They stopped for ice cream. Melissa flirted with some boy. Sadie wasn't thinking about Jamie. Melissa gets a notification. She taps Sadie.
"OMG. Sadie, did you hear? The royal prince is getting married."
Jade looked her phone. Went to the website. "Oh my god."
"What?"
"That's Jamie."
"You're serious?"
"I'm not joking. Read the article."
Melissa read the article.

The royal engagement:
King Sullivan queen Elizabeth's son, Jamie Presley, just announced his engagement to princess Janet this morning. Their wedding ceremony will be this spring. It'll sure be the most watched event. The wedding ceremony was said to be held in April. Mark your calendar. This is seen event you don't want to miss.

Sadie tries to hold back her tears. Melissa rubs her back.
"Lets not make any conclusions. Just because he looks like Jamie and his name is Jamie and he lives in the UK and. . . . Okay, maybe that is Jamie."
Sadie wipes her tears. "It's okay. It's not like he was my boyfriend. I mean, we were just really close. Just wish he'd told me. Why did he have to leave with saying anything?"
"Sadie, forget about him. You don't need him in your life. I mean, it would be pretty cool if you actually dated a prince. Oh, that gives me an idea for my next book."
Sadie got up. "You're right. I don't need him. I don't need anybody. But Jamie is my friend. I should be there for him. No matter how much it hurts."
Melissa chuckled. "You're seriously going all the way to the royal residence to see a guy who's probably forgotten all about you?"
"I just wanna see him one last time."
"I mean, it sounds crazy. But it's your choice. And I'm coming with you. I wanna meet a prince."
"I was hoping you'd come. I don't know anybody there. I could really use your company."
The two spent all night packing their luggage. On their way to see the royals.
