"You're not allowed to go out when it gets dark." Mom stated when she entered my room without a warning.

I stopped playing the game and put my phone down and sat on my bed.

"Did I do something wrong? Am I grounded?" I asked her.

I noticed that Mom looked worried and kept on pacing back and forth in front of me.

"Mom? What's going on?" I asked worriedly.

"Look Jinwoo..." She sat on the edge of my bed, facing me. "I'm so sorry."

My eyebrow furrowed while I stared at her. "For what?"

"Your bestfriend, Nam TaeHyun was found dead in the forest."

I was speechless and I was shocked by her statement, I felt numb. I couldn't move as I stared at her blankly.

What the hell?!

"The police found him earlier after Mrs. Nam reported him missing. He was found buried deep in the ground and the police were still on search for the evidence and the possible suspect."

I couldn't speak as I kept on looking at my mom.

This isn't happening...

Mom came closer to me and hugged me tightly.

"I'm so sorry. I know he was your bestfriend and this must be hard to accept." Mom pulled off the hug as I stared at the wall blankly.

"You're not allowed to go outside just incase the killer's still out there. I can't afford to lose you, honey." Mom kissed my forehead before she stood up and sauntered out of my room.

Nam TaeHyun, my bestfriend since I was a 5th grader was found dead in the forest.

Everyone avoided going out at night and after a few weeks, there was still no evidence on my bestfriend's death.

The police officer said that he died because of poison but still didn't know how or where he got poisoned.

It was already few weeks that Nam TaeHyun died and now buried in the ground of cemetery.

But I still couldn't believe it. How can someone... Like, how and why?! How did they... find his body when I'd hidden him so well...
