The window was widely open. The temperature of the day was pretty cold. The wind was blowing. It would rain probably.
Ashley removed the rubber band from her hairs and let them dance with the wind. As the wind touched her face she felt something cold on her cheeks, her tears.
She placed her right feet on the open window then the other. Holding the window ledge she stood there properly. She was almost hanging from the window. Just one wrong move and she would have fallen from the 4th floor of her new university building.
"HEY, DON'T DO THAT. GET DOWN!", a male voice shouted towards her.
Ashley looked back once to the boy.
"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? GET DOWN!", the boy took a step towards her.
"Just stay back! Don't you dare to come towards me.", Ashley shouted back, crying her heart out.
The boy stopped, he didn't know what to do. He never experienced something like this in his entire life. He felt a lump grown in his throat, gulping that he said, "Listen to me carefully...you don't have to do this..."
He whispered taking two steps towards her."Stay away from me.", She said moving a little bit towards the window.
"STOP!", the boy shouted.
"NO!", She cried more.
He looked here and there in the room and saw a book, there was written her name, Ashley Jones.
"Ashley...look I know may be you're broken, dealing with some terrible problems in your life, but dying is not a solution. You can do better than this. Just get down, I can help you.", He offered her his hand.
"YOU CAN'T HELP ME! NO ONE CAN HELP ME. LET ME DIE, THAT'S WHAT I DESERVE!", she screamed.
"No one deserves to die in this world. You just have to give a second chance to yourself. Look around you'll find so many people who are suffering, who's life is so miserable, still they choose to live. Do you know why? Because we all have just one life. And we all hope that oneday, everything will be right.", He stopped.
Ashley thought for a while and said, "Nothing can change mine. It'll never be right...it can't", She shuttered.
"Don't be selfish Ashley. Think about the boy who loves you...think about your parents...they'll be so hurt when they'll hear that you're dead.", He said.
"Nobody loves me, nobody cares. My boyfriend hates me and my parents are dead. For whom do I live?", She questioned.
"Live for yourself. Live for me. Please.", He said softly. "It involves me also in this now and trust me I don't know how will I react if you'll do something like this. So just for me at least, don't do this."
Ashley gave her hand to him. He grabbed that quitly and pulled her against his chest slowly. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!", She melted into the embrace as she kept crying.
"It's ok. Everything will be fine trust me.", He slowly rubbed her back.
