After 5 months,
"I never did this and you're making me do this now.", Ashley complained over phone.
"It's for fun Ash!", Kai said from the other side.
It's been 5 months now. The first they met Ashely was almost killing herself and now she's here like nothing happened. Many things got change after they met eachother. Kai tried to teach her level best to live life again.
He tried hard to keep her away from her past as much as he could.
He always avoided talking about Darshan, because he thinks he's the only reason Ashley became this, which she was never.
And somewhere she also understood that suffering, crying and killing herself won't help. She has to come out from this phase of her life by herself. And today she was happy, again."Yes that's the only reason I am coming.", Ashley saw one of her classmate was coming.
"Shit!", She whispered.
"What happened?", Kai asked.
"Hey Ashley, aren't you gonna attend the class?", Eve asked.
"Ahhh, actually I'm not feeling well so I'm gonna take rest.", Ashely lied. Kai chuckled from the other side.
"Are you fine na?", Eve asked with concern.
"Yah yah I'm fine. Just have some headache.", She faked a smile.
"Ok then take rest. See you tomorrow.", Eve smiled at her too and left.
"Tell me where are you?", Ashely asked to Kai.
"Come outside I'm here only.", He replied.
"Ok", she hung up the call and made her way out of the university's building.
And saw Kai there placing her hands on his waist.
"Now Where's Jess?", Ashley asked.
"I don't know.", Kai replied giving a side hug to Ashley.
"She's coming or not?", She asked again.
"I'm here.", Jessica came from behind.
"So now?", Ashely looked at Kai.
"Now what?", Kai asked back.
"Where are we going?", Jessica asked.
"Ahh.", Kai gulped, "We'll figure that out."
"Seriously? You didn't figure that out yet where we gonna go?", Ashley threw her hands in the air.
"Clam down Ash. Let's go.", Taking both of their hands he started walking.

Grabbing some ice cream they sat on a bench of Brower Park.
"I'm tired!", Ashely breathed out.
"Umm, we still have two places left.", Kai informed.
"Kai you want me to visit all the good places of Brooklyn in oneday, very bad idea. I can't. Keep some places for other days.", Ashley looked at him.
"But.."
"I'm with Ashley!", Jessica said and they exchanged a hi-fi with a giggle.
"Fine. I want cupcakes.", Kai said showing a cup cake stall in a distance.
"Lord! This boy is obsessed with cupcakes.", Ashely stood up and walked to the stall.
He smiled seeing her leaving.
"So", Jessica leaned to him, "When you gonna tell her?"
Kai was still looking at Ashley."Tell what?", He asked.
"That you really like her.", Jessica said. Kai looked back at her with a blank look.
Then he looked away from her.
"Tell me.", Jessica said again."I can't do this to her.", Kai nodded a no.
"She is still overcoming. Her heart is still broken. I'm trying to fix it not break it again. She looks at me like a best friend. I can't do this to her. She's not ready. She is living in such a difficult situation in her life.", He explained.
"And what about you?", She asked.
"I'm here. I'm going no where. We have enough time.", He said.
"You really?", She asked, "I get you Kai. But I don't want you to regret later."
"I will not.", He looked at Ashley again, who was now returning back with some cupcakes in her hands.
"Your cupcakes Sir.", she handed them to him.
"Thank you Ash!", Kai smiled at her.
Her heart still jumped whenever Kai called her Ash. Because that's what Darshan used to call her.
She smiled at him.
