The Birds and the Bees?

Another normal morning visited the Folger's household... Well, at least it was supposed to be.

The unusual household were enjoying bacon and eggs cooked by Yoru, when the assassin noticed Anya's silence the whole time.

"Anya, is something wrong?" Yoru looked slightly concerned as the child usually rattles on about every episode of Spy Wars she watches.

"If this is about study time, we are still doing it later, okay?" says Twilight in a stern but gentle tone, as he reads a newspaper with codes of an additional mission assigned to him.

The silence continued on for a few more seconds and suddenly a single statement from a particular small esper had them both stiffed.

"I wanna baby brother!"

Yoru almost spills the coffee she was pouring on Twilight's cup while the latter almost rips the newspaper he was holding to two.

Yoru's cheeks turned a rosy red tint at the child's unexpected outburst while Twilight quickly ran through possible responses on his brain to evade the question.

He assesses the situation and it's factors. Well, I'm out of the red for now. We could just adopt anoth-

The esper could hear his Pa's statement clearly and throws a minor tantrum. "I wanna baby brother from Ma!" Anya even enthusiastically says it as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

Where does she even learn these words?! Twilight could only look at her, baffled.

"Um... Anya, I think that might be a little complicated." Yoru leans slightly down to try removing the idea little by little from Anya.

"Why? Frankie says you can do it with Pa to help you." Anya says innocently.

"Anya!" Even Twilight himself turns embarrassed, remembering to turn someone with scruffy hair to mince meat later.

Yoru turns ten times flustered than she was earlier and cleared her throat. Twilight takes initiative "Come here Anya, you need to learn."

Yoru's ears perked up at this. "Um... L-Lloyd, isn't it still a bit too early for Anya to learn about the... Birds and the Bees?"

Birds and the Bees? Anya thought with pure curiosity.

Then what am I supposed to tell her? This is why I'm not good with brats. Can't be too direct with things.

"What would you suggest then?" as Twilight asks this, Yoru tries thinking of something for a moment.

That's when Anya suddenly had an idea brilliantly popping on her head. "Ma and Pa can just show me the uh.. 'Birds and the Bees' so I understand!"

Yoru blows a huge fuse while Twilight freezes completely.

"Pa? Ma? Are you okay...?"

Twilight thought this conversation couldn't get anymore exhausting. My spy missions suddenly seem easier.

The contract killing seem like such an easy job now. Yoru thought while calming herself.

Unbeknownst to them, Anya heard both her parents' thoughts. "Is the 'Birds and the Bees' hard to do?"

"Anya!" Both her parents exclaimed in embarassment.
