Pete's going to kill him.

No air.

Pete's going to kill him.

Can't breathe.

Pete's going to--

Air!

"Patrick!" Andy picks him up off the ground.

Patrick's rubs his throat, gasping for air. The other agent has already gone, and there's two dead Bloodhounds on the floor.

"Are you okay?" Andy asks, quickly leading the younger to his room.

Patrick nods, and Andy locks the door.

"They're letting you raid already? This isn't your fault, Patrick. You shouldn't be raiding."

"It is my fault, Andy," Patrick croaks. "Pete's gonna be so mad."

Andy shakes his head. "Patrick, you're honestly an idiot."

"I'm sorry," Tears puddle in his eyes.

"Why did you do that? You could've been killed."

"I just wanted to show everyone I could do it. I-I saved that one girl,  Andy."

Andy softens, he wraps an arm around Patrick. "I bet you can. But you're just not 100% ready. You need to know everything."

"Pete's gonna kill me, Andy. I'm dead."

"He doesn't have to know, Patrick."

"I have bruises on my neck!"

"They blend in with your hickies," Andy snickers.

"Do they really?" Patrick may just get away with the lie.

"Yeah, kinda," Andy guides him to the bathroom mirror.

"Oh, thank God," Patrick sighs.

Andy smiles, and together they wait out the raid.

~~~
Alarms silence as Pete checks the main hall. Finally it's over.
"All clear?" Pete asks Laura as she walks by.
She slips her gun back into it's holster. "All clear."
The janitors come out and clean up the messes. Bodies and blood get disposed of and holes are patched. The elevator is crammed, so Pete heads up the stairs instead.
"Hey, Pete!" Christina, an agent a few years his elder, runs up to him.
"Hey," He smiles. They walk up the last few stairs together.
"I'm so shocked Patrick's already raiding! He's a quick learner."
Pete stops, eyes darkening. "He's not suppose to be raiding."
She frowns. "Really? I saw him, he was like my partner. He actually saved my ass!"
"It was nice to see you, Christina. I need to speak to Patrick." He storms to Patrick's room, pounding on the door.
There's no answer, and the anger bubbles over with the addition of overwhelming fear. He swallows it back through the lump in his throat.
"Patrick, answer the door! You haven't given me a key yet," He pounds against the wood.
"Calm down, Pete, he's alright."
Pete spins to meet Andy and Patrick. Both smile like nothing happened. Pete wants to kiss and smack the smile off Patrick's face so bad.
