"I've got you," Pete hoists her into his arms.

"Fuck!" She hisses, desperately trying to get air into her lungs.

She was shot in the midsection, presumably left to die. She's lucky the bullet didn't hit anything major, but she's at risk of losing too much blood.

"Just leave me," Her chest heaves. "You've gotta get out of here."

"We're going to get out of here, I promise," Pete starts down the stairs.

Laura announces that they've got less than three minutes to leave, and the agent squirms. "Pete, just go."

"I've got three minutes," He shakes his head. "I'm not leaving you."

As the reach the second floor, Pete can't help but hear someone groaning. He bites his lip, deciding he has enough time to find and help the injuried person.

His leg has a knife sticking out from it, and there's a pool of blood beneath him. Pete does his best to get the man to his feet and on his back.

"You can't hold me," The man grunts.

"Just hang on really tight," Pete bites his lip as his legs carry the weight of two people.

Laura then announces they've got less than two minutes to leave. Pete starts rushing. The man on his back often falls off, and they spend too much time getting him back on.

"Pete!" Brendon races down the stairs,   an unconcious agent over his shoulders. "Where's the exit?"

"I'm heading to the one by the gym," Pete does his best to balance the two injuried agents.

"Are we gonna make it in time?" Brendon asks, adjusting the body he's carrying.

Pete bites his lip, nodding. "We'll make it. We're going to be fine."

Ryan bounces his left leg anxiously. Laura's announced the three minute warning, and he's contemplating running back in.

Unfortunately, Andy knows what's running through his head, and grabs Ryan's hand.

"What are you doing?" Ryan looks down at their laced fingers.

"Holding you in place."

Ryan looks back to the building. It almost doesn't feel real. The building looks like it does any given night. No fire. No destruction. Well, not yet at least.

"Do you think they'll make it out?" Ryan scans the exits, two female agents racing out of the building.

"They've got three minutes. They'll be okay."

"What if they're hurt?" Ryan swallows hard. "What if Brendon did something stupid like he always does and got hurt?"

"Ryan--"

"He needs me."

Ryan tries to walk forward, but Andy gives his arm a tug backward. "Relax. He's Brendon Urie, he'll make it out."

Ryan nods, biting his lip as Laura announces the two minute warning. Four agents trickle out of various exits, running toward the group.

There's a murmur among the crowd, some questioning if a rescue mission is needed. Laura dismisses their concerns, expertly masking the wavering in her voice.

"We need to go in for them," Ryan's eyes follow her as she paces.

"They are going to be fine," She tucks a piece of hair behind her ear.

"Who are you trying to convince?" Ryan spits.

Her head snaps to him. "You have no right to speak to me like that."
