You know this day would come, she say she would come back for you. Of course she would, she wasn't finished with you.

"You can't do this!"

Hotch blocked the way out of the room. There was no way past him and time was running out.

"Why not?"

"Because I'm your boss and I said so!" He snapped.

You let out a short laugh and shook your head. Glancing to the floor then back up and at him. Gazing into his brown eyes, they were so warm so welcoming and so sad.

"That won't change anything. You know that."

Walking over Hotch tensed not knowing what to expect. Grabbing his tie you pulled him down for a kiss. Pouring everything you had into it. Slipping the cuffs around his wrist then the radiator next to you. Pulling away you stepped justbout of his reach. Tossing the key.

"(Y/N)!" He yelled.

"Everyone has to meet their fate, and this, is mine."

"She will take everything from you!"

"She can't do anything to me... I have nothing left..."

Connecting eyes with him one last time you wanted to let him free, to beg and plead him to make it all go away. But you couldn't. Not anymore, you knew this was going to happen.

"No one else will die because of me."

"Please.. let me help you! There's another way! There has to be!"

You laughed again, a single stray tear slipping down your face.

"There isn't. I'm so sorry Aaron.. I'm so, so sorry... the team will be here in twenty minutes..."

"It'll be to late!" He cried out.

"I know.." you whispered.

"(Y/N)!"

"When the rain falls, let me go... when the rain falls, know your not alone... when the rain falls... know it was my time to go..."

His pleas and cries echoed against the walls as you left. You couldn't look back. Rain hit your skin softly as you walked away. Gun out, you walked over to the figure stood in the parking lot. Both of you stood about 8-10 foot away from each other. Guns raised. She wore a wicked smirk while you kept a straight face.

"I told you I'd never let you go."

"And now it comes down to this."

"You know, it's been rather fun taking everything from you. Shame it won't happen again."

"There's nothing left.

"Oh I know. Now one of us won't be making it out alive." She snickered.

Nothing happened for a few moments, the sounds of rain the only thing that could be heard for miles around. Your finger twitching on the trigger, eyes closed you shot.

In a flash a gun shot echoed through the place, Hotch's head shot up. He begun pulling even more at the cuffs, but he couldn't break free. Another few moments and he heard cars, he begun shouting. The door slammed open and JJ let him go, he wasted no time in running outside.

"Where is she?!" He yelled.

His eyes landing on a body not far away, no... it couldn't be. He went to run towards it but someone held him back. Hotch struggled as best he could but their grip didn't loosen.

"Hotch! Hotch man you need to calm down. It's not her! It's not (Y/N)!"

He stopped struggling, turning to Derek.

"Where is she?"

"We don't know, she's gone. Phone, coat and gun left next to the body. We can't find her."

Hotch dropped to his knees, burying his head in his hands. Making a silent vow to find you, he had to find you. You couldn't loose you, he couldn't loose someone else he loved. Not again.

As the rain continued to fall he turned his gaze to the sky, promising to find you as rain fell on his face.

"We'll find her Hotch, I promise."

All around him the team stood, nodding in agreement. They all wanted you back as well. They all stood in silence, rain soaking their clothes, their thoughts filled with you
