You stared down your boss. You didn't want to do what he said. Not in any way and you had spent the last few hours arguing with him about it. Why did he even choose you? You know full well it was supposed to to Emily doing this.

"I don't want to." You grumbled.

"(Y/N) you have to."

"Hotch no, please! everyone will laugh at me! Get Emily or JJ! Why me?!"

Hotch sighed a little, placing his hand on your shoulder. He gave it a small squeeze, lowering his head to meet your eyes.

"They won't, you'll be fine. Plus I'll be there with you." He assured.

You really didn't want to, you were scared everyone would make fun of you in a dress. It wouldn't be the first time someone had done it. And oh still couldn't figure out why he had decided he wanted you to come along with him.

"Fine... but bet me, fool and we'll see what's up."

Hotch rose his eyebrow at you but didn't say anything against it. Throwing your hand out you scowled at him, at least you could get a bit of money from the whole thing.

"50 bucks says they will."

"50 they won't, deal?"

"Deal."

The pair of you shook hands. Satisfied you walked slowly away to the woman's restrooms to get changed into your undercover clothes. After an hour there was a knock on the door.

"(Y/N), are you ready?"

"Yes..."

"Are you going to come out?"

"No..."

There was a sigh, you heard talking on the other side of the door. The door creaked open just a little.

"Is there anyone else in there?"

"No..."

Swinging the door fully open Hotch walked in before he closed it. Opening the door to the stalls until he finally came across yours. You quickly locked it, sitting back down on the toilet lid.

"Open the door please." He asked softly.

"N...no... I don't want to do this... get JJ or Emily they'd be better..." you mumbled.

You heard another sigh, then Hotch leaning against the door.

"Do you know why I chose you?"

"Because you like making my life hell?"

Hotch chuckled.

"No, because I know you'll look beautiful in that dress. And I'd much rather go with you then JJ or Emily."

You felt heat rush to your face, now thankful that you had closed and locked the stall door. He didn't mean it did he?"

"Will you unlock the door (Y/N)?"

With shaky hands you slid the lock across. Eyes cast down as it slowly opened. You didn't miss the sharp intake of breath Hotch took, squeezing your eyes shut you waited.

"I look horrible..." you sniffed, you wanted to cry but you didn't want to cry in front of him.

There was a lot of shuffling, then someone brushing stray hair from your face. Peaking an eye open you took a sharp breath. Hotch was crouched down in front of you, a small smile playing at his lips.

"You look beautiful."

"Really?"

"Really." He nodded.

As he stood up he pulled you up with him. Taking you out of the stall and to the mirrors where he took the brush you left and begun to gently brush your hair. His fingers running through it after the brush. When your eyes connected in the mirror yours quickly darted away.

"All done, are you ready?"

"Not really..."

Offering you his arm he wished for you to take it before walking to the door. Hotch exited first, you following closely behind with your head turned down. There wasn't a sound throughout the whole station, you were were sure they could all hear your beating heart.

Then finally someone cheered, letting out a low whistle.

"Damn babygirl you look amazing. I wouldn't mind taking you out." Derek teased sending you a wink.

In an instant Hotchs arms were around you, pulling you into his chest. You were sure he was sending Derek a glare, the though made you smile a bit.

Soon enough everyone else started cheering a whistling making you more embarrassed than ever.

"See I told you." Hotch whispered in your ear.

"I owe you fifty bucks." You whispered back.

"How about dinner instead?"

You froze for a second trying to figure out if you heard him right.

"Dinner it is then. But first the case." You smiled.

"About that..." he grinned sheepishly.

Furrowing your brows you thought for a minute before your eyes snapped open.

"You did this just to ask me to dinner?"

"Maybe?" He offered.

You saw a quick flash of his smile before he pulled you flush against him in a hug. Arms around him, you closed your eyes, head pressed against his chest where you could hear his heart beating wildly. Just like your own. His chin sat perfectly on ton of your head, the pair of you heard a camera and turned to Rossi who was grinning madly.

"Looks like you both won."

Glancing up at Hotch you nodded, turning back to Rossi.

"We did."
