2. i'll update this most likely every day
3. this is only gonna be 7-10 chapters because that's the amount of days until the prom lol
that's it and you may now start reading!!

Sighing, I rose up from my sleep, as if I were a flower reaching for the light. I gently yet slowly rubbed my eyes to help make me more awakened. I stood up, and as soon as I did, I turned off my alarm. It's annoying having to hear the beeping ring in my ears every single morning. If only things could've just been better.

After I hopped in the shower for about a few minutes, and got prepared for the day ahead of me, I opened up my door, introducing me to the new day that has arisen. I had on some basic clothes, only a white t-shirt and some black shorts. I peered over the corner, and noticed Uraraka. She was relaxed on the couch, and having a nice conversation with Tsuyu, who was just right next to her. Instead of disturbing their chat, I headed to the opposite direction to prepare myself some coffee. After all, that was basically the only thing that could help get me up and running at the beginning of the day.

As soon as I poured my warm beverage in an average sized mug, Uraraka noticed me in the kitchen.

"Hey Deku!" She began with a warm, welcoming smile. I turned to her, and I gave her a wave, returning the grin she had given me. "What are you making?" She got up, and headed over to me to get a better glimpse of what I was preparing.

"O-Oh.. just some coffee! Nothing to fancy." I chuckled, she looked at me in anticipation.

"Ooo, that sounds lovely!!" She said rocking back and forth on her feet, the smile still stuck on her face. "What type is it?"

Without freaking out, I calmly responded with, "Decaf. Nothing special." She let out a small laugh, which scared me. What if she was laughing at me because of something I didn't know, or what if she thinks people who like decaf are weird, or-

She cut off my train of thought by replying, "That sounds wonderful!" She clutched her hands, and my eyes widened a bit in surprise. I would've not expected that out of her. "Hey, if there's any left over, think you could pour some for me? Thank you!!" She raced back over to Tsuyu without giving my nervous self a chance to respond to her question. However, even if there wasn't any left, I'd still make her some. After all, I want to impress her, and make her happy. Not like she already is, but just help make a small portion of her day. It's the least I can do.

After preparing a second cup, I carried both of the mugs over to the couch the two ladies were sitting on. I gently passed one of the mugs to Uraraka, whilst keeping the other one for myself. She gave me a happy grin, she was even blushing a little bit! Now that helped get my spirits and hopes up. "Thank you so much, Deku!! It may not seem like it's much but it means a lot." I returned her smile, and explained how it wasn't a hassle. I had a seat next to the brunette, and Tsuyu welcomed me while I was in the process. I replied with a simple, yet friendly hello. The three of us had some fun while we were there. We joked around, talked about school, what was up with our lives, simple but fun stuff like that.

Eventually, Uraraka brought up something I had no clue that she would.

"Are you guys excited for prom?" I lightly shot up. Enough to show I was shocked on my face, but not too well with my body. Tsuyu places a finger on her cheek, and gave us a light smile.

"Yeah! I don't know if anyone would ask me, but if nobody does, I just want to spend it with my friends." Uraraka nodded, engaged in Tsuyu's short talk. Then, the brunette whipped her head to me.

"What about you Deku?"

I was frozen, clueless of how to respond. However, after a short pause, I began my statement.

"I'm not entirely sure. I might ask someone out, I'm just not sure who. Besides, I don't know if they would even want to go. But if I don't ask anyone, or if I get rejected, I'd like to just hang out with friends like Tsuyu explained." They nodded in curiosity. I mean, at least they were interested in my claim. "What about you, Uraraka?" I passed the word over to her, and she got a bit embarrassed, and blushed.

"W-Well, I think I honestly want for someone to ask me out, and it's someone specific.
However I'm way out of their league, and they'd never like me, so, I guess I'll just hang around with my close friends like the two of you said." She chuckled it off, while I looked at her with a dead serious expression on my face.

"Uraraka, what are you talking about? You know someone's going to ask you out, you're such a wonderful and sweet person. I wouldn't blame them if someone did, especially because you're such a great and beautiful girl, on the inside and out." I explained as one of my hands was on her shoulder. She looked at me in shock, and her face turned blood red. However, mine did afterwards as well. How the hell could I have just done that? More importantly, why did I do that? What if she's suspecting something, and she finds out I have feelings for her but she doesn't feel the same way! And then she gets weirded out by me and-

Once again, she managed to cut off my thoughts. "Thank you..." she let out a huge smile filled with glee and love. Then, she looked me dead in the eyes, and tightly hugged me for quite a while. "that means the world to me... you're such a great friend to have. Thank you, thank you." She let go, her smile bigger than every.

"Of course, Uraraka." We sat there in silence, until Tsuyu broke the awkwardness. Well, somewhat.

"I'm going to get ready for the day." She said as she got up, and left the two of us alone. "You two have fun." She giggled as she left us be. The two of us laughed it off, and continued to sit there in awkward silence.

"So..." I started nervously. "When is prom going to be?"

"Oh!" Her usual happy self responded. "It's next Friday!" She smiled. "I guess we should start preparing while we have the time.. today and tomorrow is basically our only chances since it's the weekend."

"Okay! I think I'm gonna get on some better clothes, and go look for something nice to wear for the night." She jumped up in excitement.

"Yeah! We should do it together!"

Together.

"Y-Y-Yeah!!" I nervously agreed. "I-I'm gonna get some better clothes on now, I-I'll be right back!!" I ran off, embarrassed as hell.

Well, that's when the incredible and crazy journey to prom had begun.
