『ɪs ᴛʜɪs ᴀ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ?』- izuocha

Day 6-Thursday

Since I had grown more accepting and confident in myself, that means I'm doing my hardest to let go of how nervous and socially awkward I am. During the school day, I participated as much as I could, spoke loudly and clearly, anything I could to be a better person than I already was. While school was in session, that's all I cared about. All I wanted was to change, and luckily for me, that's what I was doing. However, it was still a work in progress.

While everyone was making their way back to the dorms at the end of the school, my mind instantly went to the thought of the special event that was taking place the next day. The day I was taking Ochaco to prom.

I continued to walk, however my face grew pink when I thought of the beautiful girl. Not only that but dancing with her! I could tell a few of my classmates noticed, but nobody questioned anything, nor did they stare.

After about five minutes, I plopped on my bed, exhausted from the eventful school day. The first thing I did after getting the strength to put myself back up is I took a shower, hoping to feel refreshed since I could feel the cold water rushing down on my sweaty back. Once I finished getting ready for the night, it was only 8:42. I had realized I didn't eat that evening, so I made my way to the common area, and had some instant noodles. I sat on the sofa, staring off into space as I ate my small meal. However, while I had a face full of noodles, a sweet whisper rang in my ears.

"Boo!" Ochaco cheered, her cheeks inches away from mine. I turned my head to face hers, and she grinned. "Hi Izuku!" She made her way around the couch to sit by my side. "Ooo, you're having instant ramen!! Can I try a bit?" I giggled at her cuteness, and gave her a patient nod, my cheeks like strawberries.

"Sure!" I used my cheap chopsticks to get some noodles for her, and placed them in her mouth. She opened her eyes and closed her mouth when she felt the chopsticks enter her, blushing as she slowly made eye contact with me. We stayed in that position for a few seconds, until I chuckled and turned my face away form hers, covering up my forehead. While that was in session, I could feel her pulling the noodles from the chopsticks, being satisfied.

"Mmm, those are really good~" She smiled, chewing on the ramen while I gazed at her beauty. However, while I was in the middle of my little daydream, she opened her eyes, continuing to smile at me as she swallowed. My face ended up looking like Todoroki's left side, and instead of turning away and being cowardly, I looked her dead in the eyes.

"You're so adorable." I told her dead in the eyes. She ended up blushing like me, her beautifully pink cheeks turning into a crimson red. She placed her delicate hands on my cheeks, just inches away from my face.

"And you're the most handsome boy I've ever seen!" She cheered. I didn't blush that much, but I copied her actions by placing my rough and bulky hands on her soft cheeks.

"Well, if I'm supposedly the most handsome boy, then that means you're the most beautiful girl." I placed my forehead against hers, closing me eyes and smiling widely. I felt her hot breath against my lips as she giggled. She lifted her head up as I did the same in sync. We stayed like this for a short period of time, getting lost in each other's eyes. Then, she leaned forward, pressing her lips against mine. I knew it would've came sooner or later, so I wasn't all that surprised. I kissed her back, knowing I was the luckiest boy in the world.

"We should probably go back to our dorms... besides tomorrow's the big day!" She smiled. I nodded patiently, still gazing into her chocolate eyes. Then, she popped up energetically. "I love you Izuku, goodnight!"

"I love you too Ochaco.." I continued to sit there, not even hungry anymore after she filled me with warmth and comfort. At that moment, all I could think of was how I was the luckiest man in the world to have her...
