Why are they acting like nothing happened? Are they somehow tied to what happened to the student who died all of those years ago.

Questions swirled around in my head as I sat there at the lunch table eating in silence as Ryan and his friends were talking.

I then snapped out of my thoughts when Diana said "Are you okay? You look kind of pale."

"Oh yeah, I am fine." I said softly avoiding eye contact with her.

"Are you sure?" Billy says.

"Yes, I am sure." I said.

"Ok, if you say so." Tyler said while rolling his eyes.

After lunch, I went to the rest of my classes and before I knew it, school was over.

As I was getting ready to go home for the day, I see a girl with long brown hair and blue eyes with pale skin along with a nice figure approach me. She was pretty and good looks but for whatever reason I felt like she wasn't a nice person.

"So, you're the new girl right?" She said with a fake smile and cheerful tone.

"Yeah I am. What's it to you?" I said to her.

"I am Dawn. My dad is the headmaster of this school and had told me that his old college friend's daughter was here, so I thought I would come and say hi."

"Well, thanks. But I don't need you being my friend. I've already about you from Ryan and his friends."

She immediately frowns and says "Oh. What exactly did they about me?"

"I um I-" I began stuttering before she quickly grabbed my arm and squeezed it.

I yelped back in pain as she did so.

"What did they say?!?" She demanded, her voice a bit louder than before that a few people started looking at us.

"Nothing. They just that you were queen bee and a bit of a bully to people." I said.

She then slowly let's go of my arm and sighs.

"Very well then. If that's all, I'll take my leave." She said before quickly leaving where I stood utterly confused on what just happened.
