Cheer Tryouts

Chapter 33

Kenzie's (POV)

*after-school cheerleading tryouts*

Right now I'm stretching and getting ready to see the new students in action.

"Okay now!" Vicky screamed, making me jump from her right next to me.

"Everyone! 7 laps around the football field!" she screamed and a student raised her hand.

"Yes?" I said.

"Are you guys gonna run" she whined. Vicky rolled her eyes.

"We already ran a mile and a half before you guys came as you can see" I said referring to all of us sweating and quite exhausted. She just shrugged.

"Now Go!" Vicky screamed.

They all ran.

Some of them were fast and some were slow. So like half and half.

We all started talking about their talents they wrote on a tryout sheet of paper until someone cam in front of us.

"Hey girls" Tori said smiling wearing a huge scarf around her.

(We all know how that happened 😏)

"What are you doing here?" Beck scoffed. (A base)

"I'm on the team duh" she rolled her eyes.

"Haha no your not" Vicky laughed.

"Yes I am" Tori gritted her teeth.

"No your not, we all voted you off the team" Vicky said. I didn't even know about this. oh well,

"You couldn't!"

"Oh really!" she smirked.

"All in favor to kick Tori off the team say I!" she screamed,seconds later all the girls said 'I'

Next thing you know, Tori squeaks and runs away.

/15 minutes later/

All the girls are finally done running and sit down, drinking their waters like crazy.

"Ok now, who can to a toe touch" Vicky said, and only 7 people raised their hand.

"Uh a herkie" Leslie recommended.
Only again like around 6 people.

"A back bend " beck said. 6 people

"Kick over" 4 people.

"How bout a back flip" Vicky said.

There was only one person.

Marisa

"Wow you can" Vicky scrambled. she nodded.

"What else can you do " she said.

"I can do the splits, front flip, heel-stretch, front arrow, handstand, and many more" she said and might I tell you.

She defiantly is gonna make the team.

"Ok how heavy are you" Beck said, she just shrugged.

Leslie and Beck made their way to her and lifted her up.

"She's about like 92 or 94, around their"Leslie said and Beck nodded.

"Ok you can be a flier" I said and the rest nodded.

"Wait! how much do you guys weigh?" she questioned.

"I'm like 90" Vicky said.

"95" Leslie spoke.

"89" beck said.

"81" I said and her eyes went wide.

"81? how are you that much ?" she questioned.

"I've been cheering like all my life" I said and she nodded.

"So I made the team" she said and we all nodded.

"Thanks!" she cheered.

"Ok now! for the rest of you guys we have to see and were gonna put up the results next week on the board" I said and they all nodded.

"Ok you guys can go" Vicky screamed and they began leaving.

we all said are goodbyes and left.

Once I got home, Mahogany was there watching some show on MTV and eating popcorn.

"Finally your home! it gets boring here when I'm alone" she said standing up.

I chuckled.

"I'm gonna go take a quick shower then we can hang out" I said and she nodded.

I got up to my room and headed to the shower.

After I got ready and headed down and meet up with Mahogany.

"Hey" I grinned.

"Sup" she simply replied.

"What do you wanna do?"

"Well their this place called 'Sky High'" she began.

"Oh ya I know that place" I said.

"Well I was thinking we can all go you know, the guys and us plus your sister"

"Oh ok I'm gonna text her to be ready, did you text the guys?" I questioned.

"Ya! were gonna meet them their in an half hour"

/30 minutes later/

We picked up Daniella and drove to Sky High.

"So how was school Dani"

"Sucked! Ms. Barb sent me out of the room just for not simply writing my name first on the paper" she groaned.

"Wow she must really hate you" I laughed she groaned even more.

We met up with the rest and payed and started to jump.

"Hey Kenzie" Nash said while jumping.

"Wha?"

"I bet you 5 bucks I can do a front flip " he cheered.

"Your on"

While he was halfway thru a front flip I threw those blocks at him and he fell on his back.

"Oww" he complained.

I started like dying and he groaned more.

After a minute and calming down I walked up to Nash and pulled him up.

"Ow!" he said once he got up.

I pulled him for a hug and we started hugging. Seconds later I went to his ear and whispered-

"Where's my 5 dollars?" and he shook his head grinning.

I laughed and continued jumping.

Sorry for not updating this week, I got sick then once I got back to school I got a whole mess of work.

Not fun.
