Chapter 39

Kenzie's (POV)

"Hey I need to tell you everything so here it goes" he sighed.

I just hope he tells me the truth about everything.

"I knew Maddie when I was in 1st grade." I nodded.

He paused then continued.

"We were best friends until 6th grade when she asked me to be her boyfriend.... I didn't know she felt that way about me, and I didn't like her I just didn't want to ruin our friendship." he said.

"Wait isn't dating your bestfriend kind of ruining your relationship because what happens when you break up?" I stated and he just looked at me.

He probably wants to slap me right now, I'm not complaining.

"Anyways..."

"I didn't want to be mean to so I said yes"

"But then it was 2 months after we first started dating and it was getting weird."

"I actually l-loved h-her"

"Well started to..."

"But 5 months into the relationship I found out she cheated on me with another guy." he said and looked down.

"And he was my boy best friend" he whispered.

"Later once I broke up with her she started buying me all of these gifts and one time a piece of her hair which was weird." he said. what the? that's the definition of weird!

"Then she threatened all the girls I talked or hanged out with" he continued...

"That's when I found out I was moving and I could tell her, I'll never regret that move at all." he laughed.

"But when I saw her at school the other day I got scared."

He's a grown man, how could he get scared of a short girl?

"Of what?" I asked.

"Of her hurting you" he said continuing. Please, I could take her down in a second.

"That's why at the party I confronted her, she then said she won't hurt you unless I broke up with you..."

"What?" I asked again confused.

"This relationship with you has been unforgettable"

"Wait!What?"

"Bye" he said then leaving me there confused.

He just..left me.

I pulled out my phone and texted Vicky.

Did all of this just happened to me right now? Is he kidding? If he's not then that's not a funny prank at all.

I don't think you want to know...

a/n: this was the last chapter, well chapter 38 is the chapter after this so read that to understand. she basically ran away afterwards.... but their will be a sequel on this. sorry for not updating I was soooo tired this week.
