The God of Fear tended to stay away from mortals, finding them childish and generally too boring and not worth his time. But that doesn't mean he didn't find them amusing. On a fateful night stroll, Phobos witnesses the brutal murder of two well known individuals. But it wasn't the murder that caught his eye; no, it was the murderer. Never had he been so enthralled by a mortal, but this man with a metal arm was interesting, and he wanted to know more. How he was able to do what he does, how he became who he was, how he so easily evoked raw fear from his victims; he wanted to know everything. And despite being the son of the Goddess of Love, he didn't really realize that this mortal got him enamored.
