Maybe I don't have to wonder at all if the royalties knows me. After all, I know someone from the royal family who greatly loaths me.

The princess of the northern wind tribe.

I don't particularly know her, just her name. I've seen her face in a few occasions, but I know that she hates me.

Why do I say so? Well because that narcissistic brat actually asked the royal palace of the wind tribe to execute me.

For having the same birth date with her.

Fucking bullshit.

I know.

But people of Omelas greatly values the astronomical order for the souls, as it affects the body of the soon to be born, as well as his ability and cultivation. Meaning, there is no room for miscalculations and misjudgement.

In other words, no room for me.

It's fine though. The execution were cancelled due to the fact that three out of the four kingdoms actually voted for me to be alive.

Yes. They actually held a hearing for me. Awesome right? And i'm telling you, if I was well known before the hearing, now everybody fucking knows Samara. 

The girl who made the four kingdom fight.

I know you're thinking about war. Well, no. They just had a hard time deciding what to do to me. Then from what i've heard  from the guards of the court, the crown prince of  the southern earth empire actually said;

"Let her be. We shouldn't worry much about her since there's nothing she can do."

Asshole. I know.

But hey. Atleast they leave me alone after that.

"Samara? I've been talking to you for the past five minutes and you're idling there. Where do you want to go?" I stared at Kaleb.

"I want to meet someone." I murmured. Not intending to be heard.

"Who?"

"Woods."

"WHAT?" I stiffen. Did I said 'that' out loud? I turned to look at Kaleb and boy let me tell you, he was far from happy.

"Uhm-"

"Samara?! Are you always sneaking out to go to the forest?!"

"N-yes!" I quickly said. Being accused of going to the forbidden forest is actually more reasonable to hear than what i'm actually doing.

Or what i'm seeing.

Kaleb remained silent for a while. Then he told me to never go there again.

It was unsafe, he said.

I internally snorted. As if the elements of the forest will harm me.

After a few stroll in the town, a few gifts he bought for me, Kaleb excused himself to go to the Earth empire. It was time for his patrol duties.

Kaleb was an earth bender. And a werewolf.

There are certain attributes specific people from the four kingdom has. Aside from bending the element, there are special abilities given to them.

Like for the earth benders, they have a chance to be a werewolf when they reach a certain age.

To the wind benders, they have the ability to control the weather based on their emotions. But only those who have greater grasp on their power. The King for example.

For the water benders...well, they are technically mermaids and mermans. And let me tell you, these people are the most beautiful people of Omelas.

And as for the fire benders, there's a story about them being descendants of the dragons.

I know. Freaky. But to them, I am the creepy one. The mundane.

After putting down my things at my room, I stealthily walk to the forbidden forest. Careful not to let anybody see me.

Not that any sane person will go near this place.

Forbidden forest is actually not forbidden to be entered. It's just that, the consequences of going inside is yours.

This forest was actually used by the four kingdoms as a punishment for those who did unthinkable things.

Some use this place to commit...suicide. Like the fallen king of the earth empire. He actually killed himself after the death of his queen.

It was rumored that the queen was poisoned slowly to death. Some says that the queen was severly ill and some says that she died because she was killed.

Nobody knows what really happened. The only thing people are sure of, is that the king killed himself when his mate died.

It was understandable. For werewolves, their mates are their other half, their soulmate, so when one of them dies, the other usually suffers.

The forest was actually located in the far southern part of Omelas. Although part of the forest such as trees and woods surrounds the entire Omelas, the heart of the forest is located here.

I rounded my way to reach the middle of the forest. You don't fucking expect me to just walk straight there in the open don't you?

As I entered the forest, I was greated by the familiar sounds of the crickets. As if avoiding a plaque, the veins hanging from the trees around me suddenly retract.

I chuckled. Kaleb would die if he sees this.

I turned around when I sensed that someone, or something was looking at me and I was right. There are three gnomes staring at me.

I just ignored them and continue walking. They won't harm me. No body in here ever does.

I've been using this forest as my playground since I was a child and not a single insect bit me.

I guessed even the most darkest creatures are afraid to be cursed by the gods.

Hah! Being cursed surely has its perks.

As I neared the middle of the forest, I saw the small cabin I built years ago. It was beside a big brown hill. I beamed and  run.

Hugging the hill.

"I missed you, Woods." I whispered.

As if responding, the big hill started shaking. Then a big paw, as big as me, appeared.
