Regina curled up on the bus couch herself, given she was a lot shorter than Killian. She sort of argued and insisted to Killian that she not take his bed that night. Regina felt he needed proper rest given he was performing for hours on stage.

Killian poked his head out of his top bunk, not sleeping, and saw her cutely curled up there. He didn't like that she was there with just a little pillow, and got out of the bunk pulling an extra blanket from a cabinet.

Quietly and slowly, Killian walked to Regina, and spread the blanket out over her as she shifted feeling the warm blanket come on top of her.

He smiled there looking at her peacefully stay asleep.

Killian's POV

Jesus, every sound she makes is so sweet

As the bus came to a halt at three in the morning, the guys shifted awake as the movement stopped. "Aww sleeping beauty," Graham mused at Regina. "Shhh, let her sleep," Killian scolded him.

"Regina..." Killian spoke softly waking her. Regina stirred and wakes to see his bright blue eyes looking at her.

Regina's POV

That's not a bad way to wake up.

"Oh," She pushes herself up. "We're just at a hotel." Killian said. "Uhh, where am I staying?" Regina asked.

"Well we're not a rich band, yet, so there's only three rooms, David is going with Mary Margaret." Neal said.

"You can stay with me and Neal," Graham grinned. "No, she's staying with me," Killian insisted.

"You're safer?" Graham mocked. "Shut up," Killian sassed. "He is a little, you're quite the wolf," Regina mused.

The guys smiled proudly at her, "Ok ok, I'm really all talk," Graham feigned. "He is mostly, but you're better off in my room," Killian said.

Regina nodded to him shyly.

As the group went down the hallway, "David!" a chipper excited female voice was heard and David ran to receive the pretty brunette in his arms.

Neal and Graham stepped to their door, "Last chance Regina, we're way more fun than Killian," Graham smiled. "Shut up idiot," Neal pushed him inside, and followed through the door.

"Who's this?" the perky brunette came to Regina, "I'm Regina," She smiled. "She's working for Rolling Stone, maybe will make us famous," David smiled.

"Oh that's wonderful," Mary Margaret gleed. "You two enjoy, we're sleeping," Killian said gesturing the door open to the room for him and Regina.

"We're here two nights for some fan festivals, so you two girls can hang out," David said. "Oh that will be fun," Regina smiled.

"Yeah all this testosterone, Regina needs a break, see you two later," Killian said. Regina smiled and their door shut.

"He's smitten," Mary Margaret whispers to David. "How is it you always know things like that?" David asked. "Well she is too," Mary Margaret added. "That, even I knew," David smiled and the couple headed into their room.

Killian placed his bag on one of the beds, and Regina went to the other.

"I'm sure you're sick of all this guy nonsense, Mary Margaret will be a nice break," Killian said. "You're not all bad," Regina said with a smile.

"Uhh, I know it's late, but I feel filthy, so I'm going to shower," He said.

Regina watched him pop his toothbrush in the side of his mouth and disappear into the bathroom.

Killian showered a while, and as he came out, he was in a towel.

"Oh," Regina bumped into him, "Sorry," he clutches the white towel around his hips. Regina stares up at him a moment, and goes past him into the bathroom.

Regina's POV

Umm Wow, holy shit, his shirt off like that? And wet? What? Ok, cold water, yeah good idea.

Regina took a shower and as she came out, Killian was comfortable in the bed, with the TV on.

"Nothing is ever on at four am," He flipped through the remote.

Regina had comfortable clothes and a little baseball top on. "You really like baseball huh?" Killian asked.

"Yeah, my Dad took me to every game," Regina smiled. "My mother hates the fact I'm interested in music, because that involves traveling and she just assumes all music is drugs, alcohol and sex," Regina said.

"Well it is for many musicians," Killian mused.

"Not for you guys, you like sandwiches, poker and pizza," Regina smiled. "So far," Killian winked.

"Ah here we go look, baseball," Killian stopped on a sports channel.

Regina cutely settled into the bed, and Killian flicked off the light. "Do you mind the TV stays on?" He asked in the dim light.

"No I'm good, I like it actually," Regina smiled at him as the glow from the television shined on her face.

"I'll warn you these fan festivals are when things can get a little rowdy," Killian said. "How so?" Regina asked.

"Well, Graham and Neal will probably hook up with someone, and the fans are definitely at these things for a good time," He said.

"Is Graham really the way he comes off as?" Regina asked. "No, he's mostly all talk, just outwardly flirty, he's responsible, but he definitely is a womanizer," Killian said.

"Usually the lead singer is that," Regina commented. "Is that so?" Killian rose a brow turning to look at her.

"Yeah," Regina nodded against the pillow.

"I love the music, I won't lie, I enjoy the girls sometimes, but I also don't want to go just screwing around with every pretty...." he paused, "Face..." he whispered at her.

"You seem much deeper than you let on," Regina said. "Very perceptive, just as an advice, stay close to me during these events," He said.

"Is that a request or command?" Regina asked. "I don't own you, I'm just saying, for safety ok?" Killian asked. "Thought you didn't want to babysit me?" Regina raised.

Killian smiled and looked forward and then turned to her. "I did say that didn't I?" He pondered.

"Mhmm," Regina mumbled. "Well I'll not look at it as babysitting, rather just..." he shrugged. "Guard dog?" Regina joked.

Killian let himself chuckle at her, "Yeah okay, Guarding Regina, coming to a theater near you," Killian quipped and flashed a smile to her.

"I'll stay close," She informed him.

He nodded, and as he looked over at her before speaking, he saw her eyes tiredly close. "Good," he whispered, inaudibly.

Killian's POV

Jesus, she's so sweet over there. I liked having her company, that was rare for me, but I really liked having her around. I feel a song coming on.

Indeed it did, Killian wrote at least a page of lyrics after four am, and finally fell asleep as the sun came up. The lyrics definitely inspired by Regina.
