Regina was surprisingly comfortable in the little bus bunk that usually was Killian's. She was warm and could smell his cologne in the sheets.

She couldn't deny it was surprising that the bedding and bus overall was really clean given it was a tour bus and four guys.

The soft scent of Killian was on the pillow as she turned sideways with her cheek against it. He smelled good, she couldn't deny that.

The movement of the bus rocked her to sleep, and the guys were quiet. She could hear the shuffling of cards and some soft clicking of poker chips on the table so they were up likely after her eyes closed.

"So how long is our guest staying on tour?" Neal spoke quietly. "I presume until she gets what she needs," Killian whispered in a mutually quiet voice.

"And you going to give her what she needs?" Graham teases Killian per usual. "Shut up," Killian glared at him.
"Even not taking that as his usual innuendo, you going to actually be open to her asking and writing things?" Neal asked.
"What does that mean?" Killian scoffed. "Because sometimes Killian you're so mysterious that anyone who's tried to ask us things you shut down," David said.

"Artists are usually private mate, until they hit it big," Killian shrugged. "The girl is from rolling stone man, if she gets us in that, that's the ticket, the golden ticket," Neal said.

"I know," Killian sighed.

As the night wore into the early morning hours, the guys were all asleep. Regina didn't wake until she hadn't heard any movement for a while.

She peeked her head outside the curtain, and saw only Killian laying out on the seating area near the table. He was a bit taller than the bus couch.

Regina sat up, forgetting the bunk was extremely low, "Ow shit!" She gasped, waking Killian right away.

She rubbed her head and blinked there keeping herself lower and putting her legs down to get down. As she got down she felt a hand grab her foot, for support as she got down.

"Oh hi," She tried to keep quiet as she realized Killian was helping her get down. "You okay? Your head, I've done that about a hundred times," he chuckled. Regina pressed her palm against her forehead, "no blood," she shrugged not wanting to remotely come across as needy to him right now.

"Did you want your bed back? You seem a little tall for that," Regina gestured. "No I'm okay," he said.

"You hungry?" He offered. "At four am?" She asked. "Yeah I have a weird schedule," he said. "I am hungry," she stated. His eyes brighten at her and he turns to the fridge there.

"I keep sandwich stuff for late night snacks," he said.
Regina smiled softly at him, as he took out some bread and cheese and some bologna. "Got any mustard?" She asked. "Mmm I have Dijon, they tease me that I love mustard," Killian took out the yellow jar.

"I love mustard," Regina smiled.

Regina watched Killian make a sandwich, two of course and she noticed he put mustard on each piece of bread, a cheese on top of each side and then meat. It was the exact way she made a sandwich.

Regina's POV

Ok Regina it's not that unique. It's just a sandwich. Then of course he cut it the same way I did which was triangles. He's so smooth with his hands, guitar player.

"Thank you," Regina nodded as he handed her a plate with the sandwich. "Sure, rare I have company for my insane hour snack," he mused.

"Umm mind if I ask you anything?" She asked. "Anything? Or just a question in general?" He quirked a brow.
"Just a question," she said.
He nodded as he took a bite, and Regina gulped a little, as she looked in his eyes.

"When did you get started with music?" She asked. "You going to write this down?" He joked a bit. "Umm oh right," Regina got up grabbing a pencil and her notebook.

He smiled in amusement, he liked that she was still naive and wasn't doing this for the money, for her it was the experience, and opportunity.

"Well, I always loved it, my father wanted me to go into some contracting family business and hated that I chose this, my mother was supportive but sadly died before him. He died not long later, but my mother had told me to do what I felt in my hands, and it wasn't building houses, it was the strings," he said.

Regina listened to him intently, "I'm sorry they're gone, any other family?" She asked gently, not wanting to stir any wounds.

He tipped his head, and looked sideways out the bus window. "I have a brother who hasn't really talked to me for a long time, we argued when our mum died specifically. He argued that she wanted a certain burial, but she had told me privately exactly how she wanted to leave this earth, and he didn't like it or believe me. I'm the baby so, she was closest to me," Killian said.

Regina was actually surprised how open he was about that the first night, she stared at him and nibbled her lip as she watched him eat the sandwich.

Killian's POV

Well never said that to any stranger. Graham doesn't even know that story. Only Neal and David, and now this girl.

As the morning arrived, the bus was pulling in to a performance hall. "Welcome to your first live show," Neal said heading off the bus.

Regina was wide eyed with excitement as she watched the stage get set up through the day. The guys got instruments ready and began doing some practice sets.

"One two.." Killian's voice echoed through the microphone.

Regina's POV

Oof that voice. I watched him move around his fingers on the guitar and man he was good, he pressed his lips together really cutely during his riffs. As they started to do a full song, it was just amazing. It was actually unreal to hear them all live and I was the only audience member.

Regina was mesmerized by the guys as they rehearsed, and Killian indeed treated her like the audience flashing her smiles and moments with his eyes that she couldn't even handle.

"We have at least one fan," Neal said in the mic. Regina smiled at them, and Killian looked at his fingers, and lifted his eyes up to look at her.

"That was great guys," Regina praises. "Well thanks, you got to hear that song for the first time live," Killian said.

"Really? It's new?" Regina brightened. "Yep," Killian smiles.

"Two hours to show guys," the assistant came in, "we can put you here," he said to Regina gesturing to the front side corner under the stage.

"What? She's gonna stand next to the stage, back here," Killian corrected and insisted.
