Logan POV
We hear footsteps leading to the basement.
"Who's in here" the person said
"ANSWER ME" the male voice yelled
The man went back upstairs thinking no one was home.
We all stand up quietly.
"Someone call 911 right now!" Garrett whispered
"I'm on it" Lindy said
While Lindy was talking to the cops we all started stretching. We were sitting down for a long time
"The cops said they're on their way" Lindy whispered
We hear footsteps again and we hide in the same place.
"This is the police" the women said
We all get up in relief
"Are you all ok?" the women asked
"Yea" we say in unison
"Can you tell us what was going on?" Lindy said
"There were 2 men. They broke into your house and trashed the place"
"Did they want something" Logan asked
"Well, they're robbers so what they see is what they want" the policewomen said
"You kids should stay with a friend until your house is redone and good as new"
"How long would that take?" Delia asked
"About 5 days" the lady said
"I call Jasmine" Lindy said
"I call Garrett" I said
"I'm always the 5th wheel!" Delia said

Jasmine POV
I was at my locker and Lindy was at hers.
"Hey Jas" Logan said approaching me
"Hey" I say back
"Wanna study together at the rumble juice?" he asks
"Sure"
"Everything ok with Rebecca?" He asks
"I haven't been hurt yet, so yeah" I say
The bell rang so we had to go to our next class

Logan POV
Jasmine and I were at the rumble juice studying
I checked my watch.
"I should start heading to Garrett's house."
"What about your parents. What happened to them" Jasmine said
"Business trip" I say
"For how long?"
"About a week" I say
"Oh. I should get to my house too" she said
"Bye Logan" she said
"Bye Jas" I say then we went our separate ways

Jasmine POV
I entered my room, and I saw Lindy doing
homework
"Hey" I say
"Hey" she said not looking up
"I'm going to get something to eat, want anything" I say
"Get me what you're getting please" she said looking up this time.
I enter the kitchen and grab 2 apples
I get back to my room as toss the apple to Lindy
"Thanks" she said
"Did you finish homework?" I ask sitting on the bed
"Yea" she said biting down on her apple
Lindy's phone buzzed so I'm guessing someone texted her
"It's Garrett" she said looking down at her phone
"What does he want?" I ask while Lindy texts him
"Uh-oh" she said. Still looking down at her phone.
