There's Nothing I Can Do

Delia POV

"Delia, honey, please say something" my mom said

She just told me that we're moving to New York. She got a new job in the city and we're all moving in 2 weeks

At this point I was too upset to say anything.

I leave the dining room and put on my coat

"Where are you going?" she asked

"I need to tell my friends. The ones I'm leaving" I say then I walk out the door

I walk through the Watson's front door and I see Jasmine and Logan on the couch watching tv

"Thank God you're not one of those couples who kiss all the time" I say

They look at me and smirk

"We could be" Logan said

"Gross" I said

They both laugh but I don't.

I need to tell them

"What's wrong" Jasmine said getting up from the couch

"I'm moving" I said

"WHAT" they said in unison

"I leave in 2 weeks"

"I can't believe this" Jasmine said

"I'm moving to New York" I say

I plop myself on the couch and let out a big sigh

"There's nothing I can do" I add

"Don't you have any relatives that you can stay with?" Logan asked

"They aren't close enough" I say

"So there's nothing we can do" Jasmine says sitting down next to me

"Nope"

Logan sits down on the other side of me

"So you only have 2 more weeks with us?" Logan said

"I guess so"

"Then let's make these 2 weeks count" Logan said

"How?" I say

"These two weeks will be about anything you want!" Jasmine said

"Really?" I ask

"Really" Jasmine and Logan said together

We exchange smiles.

"You guys are the best" I say

"We know" they said
