My phone rang the special ringtone I reserved for Tobias. I made it something I would listen to instead of answer, but even that didn't help not wanting to talk to him. I'm putting too much effort into keeping myself from liking him and it isnt even working.

I picked the phone up and paused. "Hello?" I said shyly.

"Good evening, Elizabeth." He greeted me with what sounded like a smile.

I smiled, "What's up?"

"Well I was wondering something that I didn't notice until today. What's going on between you and my sister? You guys haven't been talking."

I sighed, "I would love to know what's going on too."

It was silent for a minute, then he broke the silence, "Hey, why don't you just come over and talk to her?" He paused, "You know where we live." He chuckled.

I thought about it for a minute, "Yeah, sure. I'll be over in a sec, don't tell her I'm coming though!" I laughed.

"I surely won't, Miss Sage." I could hear him smiling.

I waited for him to say bye but he never did, so I did it for him. "Bye Tobias, I'll be seeing you." I hung up before he could respond.

I rushed out the door with a quick "Going to see Trix!" to my parents, and jumped in my car. I looked over to my right, into Nathan's window. His light was on, and his curtains were open. I began to tear up but shook it off, it'll be okay. I turned my car on, put it in reverse, and began my 20 minute trip to Trixie's house.

On the way there, I texted Nathan:

"Hey, would you mind if I came by later tonight? I miss you."

"I miss you too, Strawberry Shortcake. But I don't know if I could handle seeing you."

"Please Nathan, I don't want this to destroy what we had."

"You don't feel the same as I do. Its hard to look at you, and not be able to call you mine."

I couldn't text him back, I didn't want to be crying when I showed up at Trixie's.

When I arrived at the large home, I pulled up to the door. When I got out, one of the servants welcomed me back and ushered me inside. I asked him where to find Trixie, and he said she was out at the moment but would be back later. I nodded.

I took my phone out to look at the time, 5:23pm, I got time.

"Sorry, I didn't know she was going to leave," He laughed, "She wanted a smoothie."

I looked up to the loft where the voice was coming from. Tobias was standing at the edge resting his arms on the balcony rails. He was smiling; It was killing my stomach.

I gulped shifting my eyes downward, "Uh, it's okay." I looked back up at him, his smile went down some.

"You okay?"

"Oh, sure." I smiled.

"Good, I don't want my guests feeling unwelcome," He smiled, "Come up here, she won't be long. We can play some video games or something while you wait."

I laughed, "Isn't this how people get murdered?"

He laughed, "Touche, but I would never hurt you." He said softly and babyish, like he was talking to a puppy.

I blushed, "Whatever," I started towards the staircase that lead up to where Tobie was, "You sure your parents don't mind us being up here alone?" I laughed sarcastically.

"They aren't here. But I'm sure they wouldn't mind. They love you!" He smiled, watching me walk up the stairs.

I finally made it up the stairs, "So what games you got?"

"All of them." He laughed.

"Must be nice." I said sarcastically while leading myself into the open room, and into his room where the console was.

He showed me the whole four cabinets of games they had. I told him I didn't even want to look through, just bring out GTA or something violent like that. He laughed.

"I didn't know you liked such violent games." He chuckled in response. "I thought you were more like my sister, into, like, My Little Pony, or something." He started laughing way too hard at his own joke.

"Oh my gosh, Trixie does not like MLP," I laughed just as hard, "I might just know your sister more than you do."

He laughed some more and looked through his games, searching for something that fit my standards. He finally pulled out the latest version of GTA, and put it in the console. I was super happy he had the new game, I have been wanting to get it for the longest time but I never could get the money.

He sat down cross-legged on his bed and I followed after taking my shoes off.

We played through a LOT of missions, taking turns.

It was his turn, so I looked down at my phone to look at the time, 7:22pm.

"Um, Tobias." I kicked his leg.

"What?" He said, fully focused on the game.

"Its 7:20. Where is Trix?"

"Oh, um, I don't know."

"Tobias-Uh!" I carried out the last syllable until he paused the game and looked over.

"Yes, you whiny baby?" He answered jokingly.

"What am I doing here if she isn't even here?" I paused, "She's the reason I came, you know that, it was your idea."

He scratched the back of his head and looked all around the room. I cleared my throat and he chuckled, getting off the bed. "I'll go see if she's home, I'll be right back," He walked to the door but stopped with his hand on the knob. "And don't take any of my clothes this time."

I laughed, "Got'cha."

I waited for a few minutes and Tobias came back in. He stood at the end of the bed in front of me.

"I thought she'd be back soon. Sorry." He apologized.

"Well, I have to head home soon." I told him.

"No! Um, I mean, well, maybe she'll come back in just a few minutes. You, um, never know," He stuttered and I muffled a giggled. He looked at me and smiled, his cheeks red from embarrassment.

"I'm starting to think you just want me here for your benefit." I laughed.

"Um," He scratched his head, "I didn't really know if she was here or not when I asked, I just, thought it'd be a good idea."

"How did you not know?"

"I wasn't home." He looked down.

"Where were you?" I smiled.

"Well, I like stopping at the pond so, yeah, that's where I was," He chuckled. "Would you like me to take you there?" He asked, suddenly making eye contact with me.

"Why?" I kept smiling and raised an eyebrow.

"Because you asked, might-as-well. It's down the driveway so, you could be 'headed home'." He made the quotation marks with his fingers.

I thought about it for a second, if Trixie isn't going to come home, then why not? "Okay, dude, show the way." I laughed.

"Alright!" He answered with enthusiasm. I got up and got my shoes on while he cut the game system off and put the rest of the stuff up.

We both were soon headed down the stairs and out the front door where we waited for the servants to pull our cars up to the front.
