You had been friends with Karkat for way to long, actually since you can you remember joining the game, in fact Dave can't even fathom how or why in the name of unholy fuck how you two became friends to begin with. When Dave always questioned you about the troll you'd always and I mean like holy fuck why in the name of jegus would you be on his side? Well what can you say you've always felt like he was misunderstood although you could do without all the anger. Like seriously to you, this troll needed some serious anger management. But you thought that maybe just maybe he was wearing a mask and behind that fake mask had a sad and scared troll behind it.
And so you stayed in hope that the scared and sad troll would throw away the mask. It had been about a good year of your friendship, and about a month in a half in he's been acting strange around you, and you couldn't understand why and you just guessed he didn't want anything to do with you anymore which kinda upset you. So you decided to talk to him about how you were feeling, once you got to his hive you opened the door, and looked around only to find him groaning in aggression at his husktop. You decided to hide behind a wall and listen in on what he was doing.

"I CANT TELL HER THAT!!! ILL LOOK LIKE A FUCKASS, JEGUS THIS IS SO FUCKING HARD!!!! THESE STUPID HUMAN VIDEOS IN WHICH DAVE SAID WOULD HELP ME CONFESS OR AT LEAST SHOW ME SIGNS THAT SHE LIKES ME IS FUCKING ANNOYING!!!!!! MAYBE ILL JUST WATCH ONE OF MY ROMCOMS TO SEE IF I CAN GET AN IDEA FROM THEM..." you over heard you best friend say. After that you left his house to question this, however your big main question was 'who did he like?'. And with every turn on who you thought it could be your mind kept coming back to the thought of him liking you and you just kept shaking the thought because you kept thinking he could never like you. One day you were cleaning your hive when Karkat started trolling you.

You had instantly rushed right over to Karkat's hive and busted through the door (okay so you didn't exactly do that but you get the gist) and rushed to Karkat and hugged him.

"Kar, I'm flushed for you too, I didn't really know I was up until I actually started to think about it." You told him in the hug.

"YOU KNOW IM ACTUALLY SURPRISED YOU DIDINT CRUSH MY FEELINGS" Karkat said. You pulled out of the hug and kisses his forehead.

"Matesprits?" You asked and he replied with a nod. You smiled places your forehead on his forehead.

"Although I have a question Kar" you said he hummed as if to say go on.

"Why are you so angry?" You asked him he just sighed and shook his head making you laugh.
