Karkat had texted saying that you could come over for dinner, Your were Karkat's friend or at least one of them. You nocked on the Vantas door and waited, you heard screams of annoyance and two voices over the screaming, you figured that Karkat was the one screaming, this time you rang the door bell. Then you heard the sound of feet hitting the floor. You giggled at the sound. The door opened and you saw Karkat he breathed a sigh of relief and let you in, you walked in and two other people looked at you, in some way the both looked like Karkat.
"(Y/N) THIS IS KANKRI THE ONE ANNOYING MOTHERFUCKER AND MY FATHER, IS THE ONE IN THE GREY SHIRT AND BLACK PANTS" Karkat said, you gave them a wave and a quiet hello.
"Hell9, as my dear 6r9ther has stated, I'm Kankri." He waved back giving me a small smile.
"And I am their father. Karkat has said s9 much a69ut y9u! It is s9 great t9 finally meet y9u!!!" Mr Vantas said coming closer and hugging you smiling. You gently hug him back smiling and laughing. He soon joined in laughing with you. Setting you down ruffling your hair making you smile.
"Karkat! Why'd you say I'd be weirded out by them?? They're so amazing!!!!" You giggled out
"In fact their Vantastic!!!!" You said getting laughs from both Kankri and Mr Vantas.
*karkats point of view*
I heard my brother and father laughing at my friend's joke, this was definitely going to be a long as fuck night, I'm slightly regretting this but (Y/N) seems to be having fun so I guess I could try too as well shouldn't be too hard right?
*third person point of view*
You guys sat at the dinner table talking and laughing. You looked at Karkat and he actually seemed to have fun! You smiled at him and he looked at you for a bit, Candy red flush danced around his face for a minute only to disappear. You giggle to yourself. After dinner, Kankri brought out (you're favorite board game) and you smiled clapping your hands together getting stars in your eyes. Kankri noticed and smiled.
"Is (your favorite board game) y9ur fav9rite game (Y/N)?" He asked you nodded your head smiling like a mad person. Kankri nodded in understanding.
*After board game Karkats POV*
(Y/N) looked so cute while playing the game. Wait I did not just fucking think that...gog I'm so fucking pathetic. She's my friend I shouldn't be thinking this way! Unless I'm fucking confused about my feelings which is or could be true. But she might not even be flushed for me!! I'm such an ass.
"Hey Kar?" (Y/N) said gog that musical voice s/he waved a hand in my face snapping me out of my thoughts
'fuck!! Think of something!! S/He cought me staring!! Quick play it off cool you fucker!!!'
"I TOTALLY WASN'T STARING AT YOU" you fuck... I mentally facepalm myself. Great now S/He's weirded out!!!
"Urm okay... Well I was just going to say that it's getting late and I was wondering if you could walk me home." S/he said.
'this is your chance idiot! Agree and then fucking tell Her/him how you feel!!!' I nodded then telling my dad and brother that I was going to walk (Y/N) home. Gog I hope I don't mess this the fuck up...
*Back to third person I promise you guys it's the last time*
After dinner Karkat took you home but boy was he acting weird.
"KK? Are you okay?" You asked he looks at you a candy red flush dusting across his face.
"UH YEAH IM FINE, IM GREAT ACTUALLY" Karkat replied back to you. You stopped causing him to stop to you turn to face him.
"Kar, I know somethings up, what's wrong?" You ask him concern filling your voice. He sighs.

"(Y/N), IM SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN THE SAME LATELY BUT... IKINDAGREW FEELINGSFORYOU,R-REDFEELINGS,ITS OKAYIFYOUDONTFEELTHESAMEI UNDERSTAND,IMJUSTGLADIGOTITOFF MYCHEST" Karkat had replied so fast you couldn't understand some of it but you got the big picture anyways. You looked at him shocked that he could harbor feelings for you too when you thought he liked Terezi or Nepeta! You sighed a breathe of relief and hugged him.
"Flushed for you too" you said to him as you felt him hug back as he took a breathe of relief.
"I SHOULD PROBABLY GET YOU HOME, SO LETS GET GOING" Karkat said pulling out of the hug, you smiled and kissed his cheek. Tugging him to your house. Once there you hug each other and say your goodbyes and I love yous.
