You and Kankri were talking about triggers one day, and how no one understood your friendship. You and Kankri had known each other since the day Karkat was fed up with Kankri and introduced you to him. From then you guys hit it off, you spent days on end just chatting. You'd listen to everything and I mean everything that this troll had to say, why? Because after a month of getting to know him you gained flushed feelings for him. And you've wanted to tell him so bad but you didn't want to ruin the pale relationship you both had. So you kept it inside, it's been almost a year since you've known him and you're feelings kept growing stronger everyday, and it was killing you inside to see him talk to other single trolls even people.
"S9, (Y/N) what triggers or well ann9ys y9u?" Kankri asked you. You looked at his cute innocent eyes. And looked down at your lap only to look up at the sky. Taking a deep breathe you hoped your true feelings wouldn't leak out.
"My feelings trigger me sometimes or well they annoy me. I don't like how there's always one that spikes up when I think of my flush crush and or when I hear his name or when I'm talking to him or when I'm near him this one feeling shows up..." I look at him trailing off. He looks at you confused, but nods.
"And that same feeling is spiking up right now..." you say trying to get him to figure out you like him in hopes that he might actually like you back.
"Are y9u thinking ab9ut him?" Kankri asks looking at you still, rather upset that he didn't ask the question you wanted you shook your head no. Shocked by this Kankri keeps thinking.
"Are y9u talking t9 him?" He asks you nod your head yes this time.
"Wh9 are y9u flushed f9r (y/n)?" You not wanting to respond to his question change it.
"What triggered you today Kankri?" You asked him, upset by this Kankri responds without hesitation.
"Y9u trigger me, n9w please tell me wh9 are y9u flushed f9r??" Kankri slightly shouts only to apologize. Not being able to take holding it in anymore you decide you should at least get it off your chest.
"Kankri...I'm flushed for you, a month into our pale relationship I started to gain red feelings for you, and I'm sure you're going to laugh at me or want to stop being my friend and I'll accept that I... just wanted to get it off my chest." You stated tears filling your eyes as you started to get up to leave your caught and placed on Kankri's lap.
"I'm s9 s9rry I didn't n9tice it bef9re (y/n) I feel like a c9mplete idi9t please f9rgive me, infact im flushed f9r y9u t99" Kankri said wiping your tears up with his thumb you smile and kiss his cheek.
"Flushed for you too" and from then on you dated the cute talkative troll happily supporting him.
