" Dashes, let's go.Ooh Stop dragging.You're only making it worse for yourself.We will continue to do these two-a-days until you show me that you can work together as a team."Coach Baker said annoyed at his team

"(Locker room)

The football team entered the locker room annoyed and frustrated especially Asher. Asher threw his towel angrily at the locker.

"Dude, chill.My dad always rides us hard after we lose a game.You know that."Jordan said

"Yeah, we didn't lose that game.He did.Look, I haven't had a good night's sleep all week because homeboy here can't hold onto the damn ball."Asher said irritated.

"He's not the only one who made a bad call last week."Jordan defended Spencer

"Listen up, guys, we win as a team and we lose as "Jordan said but was interrupted by Asher

"Yeah, we know, OK? We know.It doesn't feel like much of a team right now, and it's all thanks to a guy who isn't even one of us."Asher said walking away

Jordan sighed to himself before hitting the showers. Jordan took a shower in the locker room longer than he had expected but the time he was finished most of the boys were already dressed for the first period. Jordan turned off the water and wrapped his white towel around his waist before putting on his clothes.After putting on all his clothes he sighed to himself once more before slamming his locker shut and heading out. And Jordan exited the locker room Hope was sitting on the floor waiting for him.

"Took you long enough."Hope said getting off the floor

"Sorry didn't think you were waiting for me."Jordan said sadly

"Alright you're forgiven."Hope said dusting off the dirt from the floor

"So last night was fun."Jordan smiled

"Yeah it was okay."Hope laughed

"Just okay.'Jordan laughed

"Yeah."Hope laughed in reply

"Well how about we go out again on an "okay date".Jordan said.

"I would like that."Hope smiled

"So can an okay guy walk you to class."Jordan smiled

"Sure."Hope smiled

"Wait can you hold something for me real quick."Jordan said

"Yeah for sure."Hope said

"Okay here you go."Jordan said interlocking his and her hands together

"Very smooth."Hope laughed

"Yep call me Mr. Smooth."Jordan said

"Whatever loser."Hope said gently pushing Jordan

The duo walked through the halls of Beverly Hills High School hand in hand making people do double takes seeing that Ms.Perfect Hope and Mr. All Star were finally together. As the duo continued to go they saw Spencer getting ready to fight Asher and his friends.

Jordan looked at Hope and let go of her hand before heading over to Spencer before doing something he regrets

"Spencer, Spencer, Spencer, Spencer.Whoa.one fight, Principal Landon kicks you out.

Come on, you know that."Jordan said

"So I ain't supposed to stand up for myself? Asher and his boys been talking smack and pulling crap like this all week, and I'm just supposed to keep turning the other cheek, huh?"Spencer said angrily

" No, they're just being them."Jordan said

"Jordan."Hope said hitting Jordan on the arm

"OK, they do this to everyone when they mess up a play, even me.It's not personal."Jordan said

"Not personal? They made a meme out of me fumbling a 40.But, yeah, that's not personal.I guess you would see it that way.That's your people."Spencer said walking away

"Spence, come on."Jordan yelled but Spencer kept walking

Hope looked at Jordan before speaking "Hey I'll try to cool him down."Hope said

"You sure."Jordan said

"Yeah I'll be fine see you in English."Hope said

"Bye."Jordan said

"Bye."Hope said after she kissed Jordan on the cheek causing Jordan to blush lightly

The last thing Jordan was was Hope running after Spencer.

"Spencer, Spencer,Spencer."Hope yelled three times before Spencer turned around

"Jesus I haven't run this fast in a long time."Hope said panting

"Well no one said to follow me."Spencer said

"Yeah but what kind of friend would I be if I didn't check on you."Hope said putting her hands on her hips.

"Alright let's walk."Spencer said

"Thank you no more running."Hope sighed in relief

"You still coming to my mom's BBQ tomorrow."Spencer said

"Of course I have my duffel bag in my locker I'm gonna sleep at my grandparents tonight."Hope said with a smile

"When was the last time you've been to Crenshaw?"Spencer asked

"About a year ago during Easter."Hope said

"Dang that long."Spencer said

"I know I'm excited."Hope smiled

"Me too."Spencer said smiling

"Alright time to go Science."Hope said

"Don't remind me."Spencer said

"Let's go."Hope said dragging him to class
