(Third POV)

Hope was on the bleachers watching Jordan and Spencer practice by the looks of it, it was going well for the most part.

"Number 44!"Coach Baker yelled. Alright Alright let's go number 8 called out. Number 10 let's go.Alright Alright let's see what you go Spencer let's go. 7 let's get in there. Alright I see you Spencer let's see number 9 but Has entered the circle tackling Spencer to the ground.

Hope watched from the bleachers crying from seeing what was about to go down.

"Hey, hey! Ash, get off the field! Get off my field! I didn't call your number! You crossed the line."Coach Baker yelled

"Come on, you know better."Jordan

- Are you serious? - BAKER: Hey, hey! What, for him? Hey, enough, enough.

[WHISTLE BLOWING] BAKER: You're supposed to be a team, a family! Right now you are nothing more than an embarrassment.

Y'all feel like giving up this season? Y'all ready for that? I'm not.

And I refuse to let you give up on your futures.

Figure it out fast, 'cause if y'all ain't bonded like glue by Monday, this last week of two-a-days is gonna feel like a damn vacation.

Disgusted.

"Coach is right."Jordan said before taking pause. This isn't who we are

Tomorrow, mandatory meeting, 8:00 A.M., zoomer trip, OK? You guys know the deal.

We'll work out together, we'll talk this crap out together, and when the sun sets, we'll come back together.

Hey, where you going? Man, I got a bus to catch.

It's Friday.

I'm going back to Crenshaw.

I'll be back Monday.

JORDAN: Hey, hey, hold up.

Hey, you're really blowing this off? You're really not gonna show up for your team? Man, I've been showing up, every game, every practice, every team beach day.

What more do you want from me, dawg? I want you to want to be here, to want to be a part of this team.

That's more than just games and practices.

Man, I just fought my best friend for you.

I didn't ask you to defend me.

I didn't ask for none of this.

The weekends are the only time I get to see my family.

You know this better than anyone.

So y'all can do your team whatever without me."Spencer said walking away from Jordan After all, I ain't even one of you, right?

Jordan looked back at the team seeing they were all walking away probably heading to the locker room to hit the showers before going home. Jordan looked passed them and saw Hope standing on the bleachers with a small smile on her face. Jordan walked over to the bleachers while Hope walked down making it to the last stairs by the rail waiting for Jordan to get there

"You okay?"Hope said giving Jordan a hug

"Well let's see fought my best friend, my team is a mess, and Spencer doesn't want to be a part o the team so yeah just peachy."Jordan said with some sarcasm

"Hey chin up it'll get better."Hope said

"Yeah it totally will."Jordan said.

"Hey it'll be okay."Hope said with a smile

Buy Jordan only responded with a shrug

"Is there anything I could do to help?"Hope asked

"Well how about I take you out on a second date."Jordan smiled

"Can't going to see my grandparents this weekends."Hope said with a smile

"The ones in Crenshaw?"Jordan asked

"Yep."Hope said popping the P

"Why if you don't mind me asking?"Jordan asked

"Because Spencer's mom is throwing a BBQ tomorrow so it's a good time for me to see my old friends, family, and eat some good food."Hoep laughed

"Okay.'Jordan said sadly"

"Hey we can hang out ose other time yeah."Hope said putting a hand on Jordan's cheek

"Yeah."Jordan said

"Alright I'll see you around."Hope said giving Jordan a kiss on the cheek walking to the bus stop to meet Spencer

"Wait."Jordan called out stopping Hope in her tracks

Jordan leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips. Hope stood for a second shocked at the kiss but kissed back. Jordan disconnected his lips from hers and smiled.

"What was that for?"Hope asked

"Because I didn't return the kiss on the cheek earlier."Jordan said

"Get out of here loser."Hope pushed Jordan lightly

"Alright bye."Jordan said

"Bye baby."Hope yelled walking to the bus stop

Hope made her way to the bus stop to see Spencer already sitting on the beach with his beats headphones on. Hope chuckled at the sights of it and took off his headphones causing Spencer to react angry at first but his face soften as soon as he saw Hope's face.

"Hey."Hope said sitting down next to Spencer

"What's up."Spencer replied

"I saw how practice went not so good."Hope sighed

"I'm about to beat Asher and his whole squad."Spencer said angrily 

"Yeah I know."Hope sighed before saying "But hey look at the bright side."Hope said

"Yeah what's that?"spencer said

"Well you're going back ,hanging with old friends, an family this weekend."Hope smiled

"You right."Spencer said

"Come on let's go the bus is."Hope said standing up walking inside of the bus.

Hope said near the window seat while Spencer sat next to her the ride was about 45 mintues to Crenshaw. Spencer was listening to music while Hope was sleeping on Spencer's shoulder. Once the bus stopped at Crenshaw Spencer woke up Hope lightly indicating that they were here.  Hope grabbed her duffle bag from the ground and followed Spencer out of the bus. 

"You know where to go."Spencer said

"Of course I'll see you tomorrow."Hope said 

"Yep I'll pick you up, Coop and I are gonna head to the highschool tomorrow afternoon you wanna com?"Spencer said

"Yeah I need a couple of old  faces."Hope laughed

"Alright later."Spencer hugged Hope goodbye

"Later."Hope said walking to her grandma's house 

The walk to Hope's grandma's house was onlyt 10 mintues away from Spencer's house.As Hope walked up the stairs of her grandparent's house she sighed before knocking 3 times. After the third knock her grandma answered the door with said big smile on her face.

"My baby it's so good to see you."Hopes Grandma said engulfing her with a hug 

"It's good to see you grams."Hope saaid hugging her back 

"Come in come in Grandpa is making your favorite mac n chesse and brisket."Hope's grandma said 

"That sounds good."Hope said with a smile

"It's good to have you home."Hope's grandma said

"It's good to be home."Hope said
